The new year is a week old- I guess we can still call it "Baby New Year!" and I'm just getting around to really starting my New Year's resolutions. Maybe you've already begun and broken a few of your's...maybe you didn't set any. Whatever the case, I decided to dedicate 2014 to healing myself.
Healing myself- yes. Treating myself with love. Putting myself first instead of running and jumping for others. It's so hard to break old habits- even if they're not in my best interest. I'm shaking my head and smiling as I write this because I'm having a hard time conveying my thoughts into words today. I've been such a stress case about so many thigs and fallen into a routine that's not good...that doesn't allow for enjoyment and Life is to be enjoyed. That's why I joined Empower Network, yet, I haven't broken those old habits so I'm the one holding myself back.
Part of the healing process is making time for fun...being playful...watching funny movies again- even if I've seen them a hundred times. Laughter is the best medicine.
A major part of healing is through music. Music calms the soul and soothes the savage beast! Dean Evenson is one of my favorite artists because he is so in touch with the planet...with nature. I hope you enjoy the videos I've uploaded...just put the music on in the background and enjoy your day.
My first cd of by Dean Evenson was The Tao of Healing. CLICK HERE TO LISTENTO SOME SAMPLES. I loved it! Dean works with Professor Li Xiangting of Beijing, China and his Chinese zither (guqin). It's perfect for reiki healing, meditation or other types of healing arts. It also includes the ERF (Earth Resonance Frequency) for deeper relaxation. I tell ya, this is WONDERFUL to just put on and lie down to shake off the stress of the day.
My second cd was Healing Waters. On this cd, Dean works again with Li Xiangting, Scott Huckabay and Dean's wife, Dudley Evenson. Jonathan Kramer joins them on cello. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO SOME SAMPLES.
Laughter and music are the ways I'm treating myself more gently in 2014. As I add more things, I'll keep you posted but for now, I hope this artist helps you relax and treat yourself more gently in 2014.
If you enjoyed this video or music, please leave me a comment and pass this on to a friend!
