VOTE IN A STAMP AND HELP ME TO SPAY AND HELP FERAL AND STRAY CATS

Please take some minutes to read this appeal. It is very important
and it won’t cost you anything. Your vote may help us to spay stray
and feral cats and avoid their babies’ death through drowning in hot
water. And all you will have to do is to vote in this stamp by writing your e-mail
But let me introduce myself first

My name is Lígia Baptista Rodrigues and I am from Portugal. My
sister and I have created a project to help feral cats. It is what
you call Trap-Neuter-Return. A Trap was offered to us by an
association that does the same. And this year we have spayed 6 cats.
We have created this project because where we live people drown and
burry the kittens alive. They refuse to contribute financially for
cats spaying. Therefore we created thye www.as-patinhas-da-
padina.blogspot.com. You can visit our blog and if you seek for a
translator in Yahoo.com you will have an idea of what we do.

Right now The Portuguese national Postal Service is holding a
contest for a postal stamp that according to the regulation of the
contest “is susceptible of being emitted in 2008”. It says that
the “CTT (Portuguese National Postal Service) may change totally or
partially the works created”. Therefore the only certainty is that a
prize of 1 500 will be delivered to the winner and that money would
be a real blessing for the animals we are helping. Money is like a
magic wand for animals.Everyone agrees that money is very important
for the animals, to spay them, to save their lives when they are in
danger.

I have sent a proposal of a stamp that I drew myself and I applied
under the category "Animals and Nature".

 Help me to win this contest for the animals. Slowly we will paint
their world with other colours, changing one here and there by
touching things, by touching them, by interfering, by acting. I
believe that I have changed a little the area where I live. I did
not change minds or hearts. They are as they always have been. I
have conquered many enemies but I changed their lives and futures
and that is all that matter. And I believe that they are grateful
and happy. They are not angry at us even though we have trapped
them. They still trust in us. They see love. They remember the good
that was done to them.

Therefore till May 31 do not forget us. If you are interested in
helping us please vote in my stamp. Vote and spread the stamp so
that we may convert the money into a safe and kind future for these
beings that we love so much that are so worthy of everything we do
for them.
