I might be hurting you but i cant help it

Dear Friends
I have stopped accepting comments as a conservation effort.
I found a page loaded with graphics and special effects consumes time and electricity. Imagine the amount of savings of electricity if millions of pages had no  comments or were simple one liners without graphics.
Yes they do make it very interesting but for a simple man like me they are less important then the person and the feeling.
For me nature and conservation is more important. Dont feel ofended because I dont seem to care for your aprecaitions. I do like to be appreciated. I am a flirt so comments from women specially do boost my ego. But it isn't important at all.
I am on care2 because I care ... but ... for the environment first.
I have your comments in my heart. I cherish and value it.
Be happy. And i know our love wont be less, for you too do care.

Your computer uses the same amount of electric power regardless if your have graphics or not. What it effects is your computer speed due to a variety of things but it does not use more electric power.

The only way you can save power is turn your computer off, for it uses the same voltage regardless of page content

You may be right about the voltage. But it takes many minutes sometimes for a page to load. A computer consumes energy all this time it would add up. If I can finish off reading pages in a few minutes instead of some hours, I would save energy. I do not keep my computer on all the time so it does matter that I can finish off as soon as possible.
