This is a video of a riveting encounter with a pack of wolves in Yellowstone last winter. It was fascinating to watch the pack work as a group to bring down the bull elk. Although one of the bull's antlers was broken, he still kicked and it was a wonder that none of the wolves was injured.
This is a classic example of the wolves taking the weakest, as the other healthy bull elk was ignored, and the wolves targeted the elk with the broken antler.

You are actually saying that becasue an elk has a broken antler that he is weaker than the others? What if you broke your toe...would that therefore mean that you are weaker than other humans? Your comment is ridiculous. Wolves are cunning and capable. They will kill whatever they can, whenever they can, to eat. Why don't you do some reasearch on the devastation that they are causing, rather then trying to get in bed with one of them! Geez!

What an idiot! The elks horn was broken due to fighting. The next fall the antler would be full. You fools don't know what you're talking about. I hunt wolves yearly as they prey on my cattle herd.. You come around and see what happens to you.
