I live in Florida where inmates get to choose their demise. I have always felt that if someone is convicted of a heinous crime, they shouldn't have any RIGHTS. They should have thought about it before they did it.
The family of the victim should get to choose, the Needle, or Old Sparkey.
I understand how a few, innocent people have been sentenced to Death Row. NOW with DNA testing, forensics, pathology, and technology, proving someones guilt or innocence is faster, FREE or KILL should be done immediatly.
Bundy, got 3 hots and a cot for 10 years, after bite marks were proven to be his, on one of the victims. The state of Florida supported this murderer, costing tax payers, about fiftythree thousand dollars per year. Do the math, there are plenty of people that have to support their families on less money.

my name is bob ortiz, and my daughter bonnie christine ortiz carroll was murdered on september 12, 2001, by john troy, currently on death row in raiford. the thought that scum like him will continue to be a financial burden on our state for years to come, while hardworking individuals will lose their homes due to state layoffs, is beyond comprehension to me. i propose a law that i would like to call the troy law. after all mandatory appeals have been exhausted, and after a relatively short period of time, the governor would be required to issue the death warrant. i am interested in hearing from those who support my premise. i can be reached @bobdebortiz@verizon.net
