Blog: My first day going veg!  



OK, so ever since I decided to become lacto-ovo vegetarian I have adopted a consious decision to ween myself off meat. Well, I made today my first meat-free day and I actually feel really good! I feel great having not eaten another living creature-like I am doing something positive for the animals.  Today I went grocery shopping and got the "fake" veggie meat and "chicken" I can't wait to try it!

it's going great! still vegetarian and not regretting it! Tomorrow will be one week and I'm very proud of myself.

Congrats. It is new to me as well. It has been day 2 for me. Last night my Mother made ribs and they smelled so good. I didn't eat any though. Surprisingly it was easy once my nose had its fun. LOL Good luck with you!!

Yay Rebecca! Vegetarian food is surprisingly excellent when someone knows how to make it. (How many of us manage to cook stuff ourselves, let alone vegetarian food?) Indian restaurant buffets have some very zesty vegetarian dishes.
