An interesting course for
students and young professionals titled, 'Agenda for survival: A
certificate course on the policies and practices of environmental
management in India' (Oct. 23 - Dec. 14, 2007, New Delhi). This course is
being organised by the Anil Agarwal Green Centre, the education and
training unit of the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE).
This course will be of immense benefit to you, a person
interested in understanding and exploring the complexities underlying the
environment-development debate in India. The teaching approach is
innovative: lectures, readings, debates, weekly outings, active reportage
and a five-day field tour to rural India. You will also have the
opportunity to put together an online documentary of your experiences,
using text, video and audio.
If for any reason you cannot participate in this course, do spread the word
