With the stock market's recent wild ride, it's tempting to look for tips on the latest hot stock. But if a tip comes to you by e-mail, don't give it any, well, stock. "Pump-and-dump" stock scams are one of the most common forms of spam today, with more than 100 million such messages sent every week. Find out how pump-and-dump scams work, and how you can avoid getting duped by one.
