I believe my son is an indigo child hes has such a busy mind and never slows down. He hate school because he says it is boring and to much work. He show he is very smart, only on occasion. He says things only an adult would say or know. He says he is being haunted and he is only seven. I am just looking to get help on how to help him and work with him. his teacher sujested me reading Indigo Child so I have been looking in to what it is all about...I still don't quite understand it all but I am hoping to. He used to head bad and Rock from 9 mths to 4 years then just stopped. He is very smart but dosn't know how to work it out. He is always asking 20 20 questions...about things he should even wonder about at his age. Please if you have anything  please let me know.

I think your son could very much be an indigo child, however there are different types ... Indigo... crystal... and rainbow children. Each different but special in so many ways. You As a parent may better understand your child by learning more about these children.

I, myself relate alot to an indigo... as a young aduld it can be dificult because you won't be inclined to people your age... Nevertheless its important to find a good oulet for your child... this includes running, sports, writing, chess, ect. Things that stimulate your child. Another thing that might help is this site...
Indigo children along with myslelf are usually bad test takers... and its not that we dont understand the material...(Im a stait only A,s and B,s student) What it is, is that we interpret questions differently than most and unless the question is specific our interpretation may be beyond what the test makers though and so we are left with no answers that match the way we see it.

As far as if your child is or isnt an indigo I think the Question is "does he know how to express all that is going on in his head."

All children have the capability to be great... alot of things get in the way of them reaching there full potential... "Like i would belive that a child that does wrong like lying and stealing is a smart child, however, they are using it for wrong things... If you think about the things they can gain by using that intelect for positive things you can see how they have opportunity to accomplish anything."

This has to do with your child, I dont think he is inclined to do any thing bad, thats not what im saying I just think that he needs to feel like its ok to open up and get involved in things that he will enjoy.. and not to feel alone because Indigo children in many cases say that they feel like no one understands them. Why? because they have an understanding that most people dont have even sometimes adults lack. Its a genuine sence of compassion and knowing... They see things differently and at a different angle... they are truly here with a pupose.

For me I found that getting invloved in Karate, Arts and crafts, writing and other forms of expression along with finding others that feel the same, made me realize that I wasn't alone and that i could do anything...
Im inclined and hope to one day work with children or animals.. I think thats my purpose to make a difference...

Hope you find your answers and continue to work with your child because maybe thats all he needs understanding and stimulation in a possitve way. Expression was my key and It may be his too.
God bless.
