Name:Nanette Belasco
Type:Memorial (for the deceased)
To Honor:Individual(s)
Location:, United States
This is a Memorial for my friend and co-host, Nanette Belasco.

Nanette was a wonderful person who cared about animals, the world, and the disabled people of our world.  She was always very kind to everyone she meet along her way through her life and here on Care2.  She will always be remembered in my heart as the most caring person who only wanted to see others have a better life then her own.  She is going to be missed greatly by family, friends and her pets.  God bless Nanette.

I did not get the honor to know Nanette but it is obvious that she is dearly loved, respected, and missed by everyone. One day I will have the honor to meet this wonderful lady that you all speak so kindly and highly of. Prayers to All who are still grieving. Peace and Freedom for Nanette.

Hey,this may be a long time in b eing written, since it is five years after, but,I did try and leave a message before, when I was not a member.
If you still have anything here about Nanette:well,I guess that I was as close to Nanette as anyone. She was my "unofficial" sister, and, was the person who got me started in acting. We were even engaged for a while.
We had first met in 1985,at Caldwell Community College, but, after graduation, had lost touch. But I looked her up,in 1997,through Steve Bean, who was a good friend of hers.
My mother and I became her extended family-and,always remained so.I guess that my mother was the last person who talked to Nanette before she died.
And,too,Nanette's Cocker-Mix,Izzy,who is,very sadly, dead now, too, became my dog,as well as Nanette's.I would ask her,"Are you my waniel?" and she would just wag her tail as hard as she could.
We had worked a little on a movie, which, when Izzy died, who knew that we would never be able to complete-and,she was just starting on an idea that I had for something.
She had a script, too, which she had completed, entitled "Track Two Bears," which was quite good. But,even saying that,I read some short-stories of her's which I thought were about as good as anything that I have ever read.It is too bad,on so,so many levels, that Nanette did not live to have the chance to show the world how talented she really was.Bless You,Nanette.
