Greetings from SuperVegan! We've got lots of restaurant news, plus all the dirt on upcoming events for NYC vegans.

It's Brooklyn Vegetarian Restaurant Week! Is this a great deal, or does Brooklyn deserve better? Check it out and let us know what you think.

We've also got a round-up of vegan-friendly Halloween events. These all benefit animal advocacy organizations, but our commenters are fighting it out over whether the dog costumes are offensive or adorable. Care to join the fray?

Blossom's just opened a new restaurant on the Upper West Side, FreeFoods provides more vegan options in Midtown, 'sNice has chosen a Brooklyn location, and perennial asshole Peter Berley will open Broadway East this month on the border of Chinatown. Click here for all the dirt.

This month's hot topic is pizza. We've got 18 restaurants in our NYC Vegan Restaurant Guide where you can grab a vegan slice. Our favorite is Park Slope's Pizza Plus, a real Brooklyn pizzeria where you can sit down and choose from a huge array of toppings for your perfectly melted soy cheese pizza.
