Hi Camilla, Unfortunately I haven't been to the places on your list but most of them I would love to. I must agree with Christia, Chicago has so many beautiful places to see, Buckingham fountain in the summer is almost magical, if you are there with the right person. Navy Pier is great, even better is watching the fireworks at night from N. Ave beach. Savannah, Ga. is a city with beauty almost anywhere you look from the gardens to River St. Seattle another honorable mention. I guess I find beauty just about anywhere I go. Anna |

It would have to be one of the most interesting and beautiful places to be. Preserved and with amazing animals to see including crocodiles. But Camilla I am biased you know as I am an Australian!!! |

Hi Camilla! The Queen Charlotte Islands, off of the coast of B.C. in Canada is a beautiful place to visit. I lived there for 2 1/2 years.
Also I've found that if you go exploring in local state parks, hiking on the trails rarely used, you never know what beauty you can find. I've found many waterfalls (small), unusual bird feathers, places to meditate and places to watch eagles.

You have quite a list Camilla! I agree Germany (Oberomagau and the black forest is beautiful!) Also, Austria, Switzerland, the French Riveria and Avignon, Monaco is beautiful with the ocean and yachts below, Monte Carlo, Hungary is so very special as is Passau and Ireland. But America is also beautiful since I zig-zagged the country both ways from NH to California, up to Washington state through Oregon (along Routes 1 & 5) and down through the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and Yellowstone National Parks. Onto Florida and back to New Hampshire. Everywhere the world is amazing! |

Yes beauty abounds....Thankyou for your post. Ah and such beauty in New Zealand. I will soon make available an album for public viewing so all may enjoy to take a look into the beauty of our magical islands north and south, at least virtually!
Happy Trails,

Yes, all of these places seem interesting and attractive to visit and see (for me of course). I would like to add one place too. It is located in Europe, ex Yugoslavia region and the name of town is Novi Sad (in Vojvodina - find in the map if you never heard). Maybe someone heard about big music festival -"Exit"? If you didn't visit Novi Sad this year, well you have to start thinking about it. This town has lots of stuff to offer.
My favorites from Camilla’s top 10 list are #5 and #6.

Wow! That really is a wonderful list of beauty spots! I am surprised at the fact that noone has yet mentioned Bonnie Scotland! Its where I have live, never having been abroad. Though the world could offer many places I would find stunningly beautiful, I would always come back home.
If you have never seen The Great Glen Way it is well worth seeing at least once! Loch Ness is the finest sight it offers, there are also wonderful places dotted along its shoreline. Moniack Moore in Abriachan, Foyers Falls, the view from Dores. There is a spot beside Loch Ness known as the corkscrew, it is a tight winding road that leads up to a perfect, all be it sucluded spot. A rocky path leads through heather and it really is breath taking up there. Tourist guides can also be found to help you try and find Nessie!
Thanks for sharing,
happy trecking
Rose
