Judge Lets Congo's Death Sentence Stand
PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Despite protesters' calls for freeing Congo the German shepherd, Municipal Court Judge Russell Annich Jr. Tuesday stood by his decision deeming Congo a vicious dog that should be euthanized because he mauled a landscaper.

* CONTACT THE GOVERNOR TO OVERRIDE CONGO'S DEATH SENTENCE
The Gov.'s office is taking a numerical tally on how many people call.

- Please Call the Governor: (609) 292-6000
(office hours: 8am-6pm Eastern time)
Here's what you can say: "Hi, I'm calling to ask the Governor to pardon Congo-- he should NOT be killed." The operator will then thank you and tell you that they're just taking a tally and will count your support for Congo.

Thanks, Judie; however, after the judge's sentencing yesterday, it's NOW up to the Governor. Please just keep calling the Gov.'s office at the # above. I promise you it's a VERY short phone call. You can call several times. THEY'RE COUNTING ALL OUR CALLS.

I was at the rally on Tuesday. Congo is a sweet dog and is missed by his family. He is in a terrible shelter and needs to get out. He is rapidly deteriorating. Please help him.
