American Diabetes Assc sends out 5 million plus dollars asking for donations
Nov 20, 2007
Recently I got a letter in the mail from the American Diabetes Association. Through the clear window of the envelope i could clearly see a Nickel taped to the letter enclosed. I open it up and sure enough it is a real 5 cent nickel piece. I carefully read the letter and it asks me if i could see it in my heart to make a contribution. I sat and thought and said you know if this letter goes out to 1 million people, that is 5 million dollars that the ADA just spent to get donations. If we include postage your talking close to 47 million dollars spent to raise money. I have also recieved one from the disabled vets. Call me silly but wouldn't this 47 million go a long way in research? I am truly appalled by this poor salesman ship, poor quality of a reflection of a legitimate 501c3 organization.
Please contact the ADA today and ask them how they can so frivilously was money in the amount of 47 million dollars, when that money would be woth a few years research.

Angels seem to take
flight all year long both
day & night,
Some are seen...while
some remain out of

They dispel darkness into
light anew,
Performing good deeds
