Angel and her puppies will die on december 06 8:12 AM

CROSSPOSTING

Angel is a young adult dog, an American Eskimo Dog (mix breed). She is a medium sized female. She is located in Hinesville, GA (Liberty County Animal Control). She will die in 3 days if no one takes her.

CONTACT Petra Brooks at 912-369-0424 or at petra31313@yahoo.com

About Angel:

''How can you not be devastated to know that this mom and her babies may die in just a few days!? I am horrified whenever I encounter a "family" at animal control. All animals are in danger of euthanasia, but when it is a mother and her babies it truly is heartbraking to know that no exceptions will be made. She will die along with the rest of them and her babies will never know what it means to grow and thrive. Please rescue her or a puppy if you can... Angel is a beautiful girl. She was not treated good because she is very shy and ducks her head when you try to touch it. Even though she is a afraid, she is so starved for a loving touch that she risks getting hurt yet again. Everytime I look at her I imagine what she could look like if she had a chance to receive a bath and be brushed. She is such a sweet dog. All I want to do is put my arms around her and protect her and her babies. I hope that others feel the same way when they see the pictures of Angel and her little family.''

Why can't we find a way to make these horrible places stop killing animals just because it's the easy way. It has been proven that no-kill shelters work. Time to come out of the middle ages. Find a way to transport Angel here and I'll take her.

Dear Catherine - These situations are always heartwrenching. These beautiful animals need you to be their voice, so you should feel great about what you're doing for them. I feel helpless as I'm in FL...but it gives me so much hope knowing that there's a network of people who care and actively fight for these precious animals' lives. Thank you for sending this msg - I've passed it along. Keep up your efforts! Together we can prevent animals from feeling unwanted and neglected by finding them a loving home. EVERY effort counts - no matter how insignificant it may seem. Never give up! Every animal deserves a second chance at a quality life. And it happens because of people like you. I hope to hear good news about this case! Best of luck....In a perfect world "animal control" would mean that we screen people before allowing them the privelege of taking reponsibility for a "pet". But we can still influence their futures.

I hate these so-called shelters that kill the animals!!!!! Angel and her babies are so cute! They don't deserve to die. Those people have no heart... Wolfbaby Mine, if you can help Angel and her little family, please, do it, and God bless you for your kind heart!

A rescue in South Carolina saved them a few hours ago! Thanks for everyone who helped! They've got their second chance!!
