WSPA and Spanish member society Asociación Defensa Derechos Animal (ADDA) are hosting a unique anti-bullfighting conference, United Against Cruelty, in Barcelona later this month.

For the first time in Catalonia, speakers from the fields of philosophy, art, politics, media, law and science are coming together to offer their own unique perspectives on the cruelty of bullfighting.

Addressing politicians, academics, students, animal welfare organizations, the general public and WSPA member societies from across Europe, the speakers will be supporting a conference resolution encouraging the Catalan Parliament to push forward with the proposed ban on bullfighting in the region.

Please sign WSPA's petition calling for an end to bullfighting in Catalonia and join our conference speakers and participants in denouncing this blood sport as unacceptably cruel.
