I am a registered nurse and minister of the Gospel. I practice organic gardening and am learning about the medicinal uses of plants. I plan to get my master's as a Nurse Pracitioner and use my knowledge of plants and nursing together to spearhead our healing ministry.

God gave us all the plants and told us to use them. And why would a God who loves us send us somewhere where everything we needed to be healthy wouldn't be there waiting for us? So I believe that man has a naturally symbiotic relationship with plants. Plants "complete us." The only trick is figuring out which plant. That's where our ministry would come in. But I digress...

If you don't know, my husband and I just spent 22 days in jail because we "peed dirty" for cannabis. We are currently being charged with drug trafficking by the state of Alabama. We are ministers of God who use the Holy Anointing oil of Moses, which contains cannabis. We also believe that cannabis was the burning bush of Moses, as well as the many references in the bible about holy smoke, cloud of the tent, etc. In fact, frank-incense is HASH! I want to be the one in the church who carries the incense around from now on!

Oohhh, where'd that come from? Anyway, I experienced some real miracles while I was in jail, and some of the stories we can tell!!!! Don't get me wrong, jail is no picnic and having a loved one locked away caused much stress for our families, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? So I think my gift for enduring all that was the ability to teach. I spent a lot of time with other women incarcerated because of the War on Drugs while I was in the pokey. When the punishment for drugs is worse than the effect of using the drug itself, there is something seriously wrong in this country.

And Bruce, my husband, finally was pried away from his computer (he's a web designer), long enough to read God's Word on a daily basis. This was such a blessing, in that he was finally able to learn more about what the two of us are here to do. Read 1 Corinthians, it blew our minds!

After 6 days, we were able to communicate with each other enough to write letters twice a day. We have all those letters and will be publishing those as well.

So keep checking out our website, http://GreenEarthMinistries.org
I'll be seein' ya' there!

I sure do love me a good legal adventure. Thank God for the wonderful people we got to meet while hangin out there. I even met a couple of guards that I could tell were actually very decent people. Too bad they are surrounded by such heartache so much of the time. You see, slavery creates that kind of emotion. And correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't a jail be designed to enlighten and inspire the inmate into wanting more from life? Trust me...these institutions are designed for nothing other than to house our slaves of the state, and make their families and friends pay for a bunch of politicians' ridiculous mistakes. Soo many non-violent offenders, many of them not even guilty of any crimes whatsoever, heck... there was one unfortunate non-american who was being charged with possession of a controlled substance just for being a passenger in his boss's truck. He'll likely spend 4-6 months in there before he is even allowed to go in front of a judge, and he won't even know, let alone understand, his public defender until that day. REALLY, no lie! The drug war is a complete failure. GO FIGURE?
