 Eagles are gathering

As the sun rises on coal towns

Folds of mountains cover you
And we have never felt so alone. 
In Vietnam your Brothers saw the light
Of your eyes and Eagles danced there
Where even the skies cried for them
All of them names in black stone 
Here where you stood a bit of you
Still stands as you lay in your dying.

And Eagles are Gathering above
Rising as you rise to greet the dawn.
