We’re excited to announce that we will launch our all-new Care2 email interface on Thursday, March 20, 2008.

Making the Switch
First of all, we want to assure you that the transition from your existing Care2 email interface will be completely transparent and seamless. All your messages, settings, folders, etc. will be transferred with no loss of data. The transition will occur over a few days, so to make sure you have access to your mail, we’re giving priority to users who login to their email account during that time.

New Look, New Features
Meanwhile, you can look forward to a sleek, modernized email interface and many terrific new features designed to enhance usability, enrich your email experience and help boost your email productivity. Everything in the list below is included in your new Care2 email account:

1. Outlook-like Interface: Familiar, intuitive and sophisticated, the new look and-feel was inspired by elements of the ever-popular Outlook.
2. Message Reading Pane: A convenient, resizable preview window with three views to choose from.
3. QuickReply: An easy way to send a short email response on the fly, this handy tool was inspired by the popular Mozilla Thunderbird email application.
4. Quick Sender Search: Mouseover a sender’s name in a message to view a convenient dropdown menu of options.
5. Attachment Manager: More options for handling attachments, such as forwarding individual attachments and sending an attachment itself through email.
6. Contacts 2.0: This amazing upgrade includes Google® maps, online calling connections, keyword tags, easy import/export and plenty more great ways to organize your contacts.
7. 24-hour Time Stamp: Each message in the Inbox will now display the time it was received. Beyond 24 hours, the time stamp reverts to a date stamp.
8. Fraud Protection: Your account is now protected by an advanced fraud protection program that detects and intercepts phishing schemes and other fraudulent messages before they reach your Inbox.
9. Right-click Functionality: This AJAX-inspired feature adds desktop-like functionality to the new Care2.org email interface.

some of these updates are far overdue, thanks!

I do know you likely would not have lost 2-3 other members if some things, including some things you have fixed and are fixing would have been changed sooner. In other ways care 2 is starting to seem far too corporate and keeping up with the jonses....
but I have been around since 1999...not leaving now. :)

Sounds Great1 Does this mean that the new Care2 Email 'provider' is Care2 - as in an entirely Care2 system? I know you felt some frustration at not being able to provide features Members requested, because you were not the designers of the old Email Program. I take it this is your answer to that situation?
Will you please be able to provide more precise information about what concessions we will need to make in security programs? The previous program simply said 'accept all cookies' but this was far to simplistic. I do not accept that this program will require 'Third Party cookies'. Will it require 'Private Headers' or 'web bugs' [such as counters]?

Wow thats sounds good.I wish you guys would give me my lost password.I am so upset over this.I have lost all my data and requested over and over to get my password for my account.i have contacted legal advise because care2 wont send my password.All my personal email from work,and friends is on that account along with important work folder with a updated reseme and private email.Its been 3 days now and i am really upset.I am loosing money and unable to complete my work.I have given them all the imfo they requested and they still have not sent a password for my account rebood555@care2.com

"Transparent and seamless" ?????? Don't think so. And where the $%^#$%^ was this warning? Maybe sending it to our email addresses would have gotten the warning to more customers? Today is the first I've known about it, and only because access to my email has been nil. So far, not impressed.

What happened to all my emails? I can't locate my personal folder for emails I was saving and the ones that were in my inbox are gone too!!! Most of the ones I received today were misdirected to junk mail. Shouldn't that be my call? I didn't get a heads up on this and was checking for an important email I should have received sometime yesterday. Your idea of seamless is garbage!

I have read the help file, so I know this is going to take some patience - so far it has been 5-6 hours and none of my settings or emails have arrived, and there are apparently supposed to be some icons for various things, but I do not have them (contacts, appearance, options, favorites, etc) so I have no access to any of this - will these be accessible by the time my previous account's stored information is imported? I am just trying not to jump the gun and decide that I hate this before it's finished (cause it LOOKS awfully nice), but at the moment I am a tad frustrated with the lack of functionality due to (so far) nonexistent features. God luck getting it up and going though :)

When I first checked my email this morning about 10:30 am PDT, there wasn't any problem...when I tried to get back to my email page a few minutes later, I was blocked from any access to email...after an hour or two, I finally had access to my "new, improved" format, with ONE email in my mailbox, the one I had sent myself as a test message from another email site. It is now 7 pm, and my email files/folders etc have yet to appear. Several emails to Care2 help-request have not been responded to...I realize that making this kind of switch must be crazy-making at a computer-level, but a warning would have been welcome, and not making changes until the bugs were worked out would have been nice too. Please tell me this is a really tasteless April Fool's joke, and it will all go back to normal tomorrow. Very simply: if ALL my emails are not returned to me, I'm looking for another email provider.

I am so sorry, Diane, Erin, others-my emails were restored after an hour. I definitely hope you'll have your emails back in no time.

I used to use Planet Save and they had a crash (not an upgrade) and I lost all of my contacts, emails, etc. I had an email from Paul Wellstone 3 weeks before he died-I emailed a word of encouragement to not give up during the ugly Minnesota election. He wrote back a thoughtful reply and I never printed it out. I lost that email as well as others.

I hope your problems are very temporary Diane, Erin, others.

I have to say that I really liked the old format better...I liked having the list of Inbox e-mails on one page, then the entire e-mail on a separate page. I find the viewing windows on the new format very small. And it looks like every other e-mail service out there...I miss the originality of the old look...and the funny little monkeys! After a trial, is switching back an option?

Thank you, Melissa, for your kind well-wishing - that at least one person seems to be having some success with this new interface gives me some hope that these are merely kinks that will be worked out.
Well I figured out where the view, manage, contacts, and options links are - at the bottom on the left under the 'navigation' windows - but I can only see them if I have every toolbar turned off, and no more than one tab open. I find this not merely inconvenient but an utter nuisance (and I still don't have the links/icons for appearance or favorites, nor has my previous accounts info been imported as yet). It seems that the new interface size was set on the assumption of a universal larger screen-size setting - I personally cannot make my screen resolution larger or it turns into colored noise, so this is going to create a serious problem for me in having to constantly turn off my toolbars in order to access my email features - is this a permanent aspect, or can it be dealt with? And are the other features I still don't have just hidden under there somewhere with no way for me to access them? - there is nothing left for me to turn off in order to make my window space bigger! Any info would be helpful, thanks.

The format is truly appalling, unfunctional and not at all user friendly.

As far as I can work out you can not change the views ie. make the viewing pane smaller so you see you inbox contents etc.

It does not atke into account different screen sizes or settings let alone people with less than perfect sight!

WIll see if these are just 'ironing out problems' but if this is the format we are stuck with I will be changing, it is too frustrating!

Quick question: I get alerts in from a site where I can't click the 'reply' button on the email banner-thingy, but there's a link in the alert that I can use to reply; will I still be able to use it on this system or will the link not show or...?

Erin-I have the same problem and I see others have commented on that (preview pane?). When you view a message, it's on the bottom 1/3 of the page and you have to scroll through the message a LOT compared to the old format or ANY format. I recommend for everyone to comment here or via email/forms about features we like/don't like. The more collectively we complain about certain features, the more we'll get change.

Overall, I like the new format, even if it's taking some time to get used to. I like a lot of the features it has and I'm guessing they've spent a lot of time/money in this conversion so this format is probably here to stay!

My old e-mails are found via the old system. Which is just fine. I need most of them for archival purposes or the odd e-mail that isn't in my contacts.

The more I use the new system, the more I see that it is working pretty well and I can get a full page to read by hitting printer friendly. I can get translate from the letters I write (I've needed that on occasion), the window panes change size. Overall, I like it. It worked much better when I drafted a letter a moment ago. No longer did I have the dreaded five minutes and counting. Also,the old e-mail is included which makes it easier to answer the questions which are sent. I like it.

Folk need to take some time to get knock around.

The ad banner on top takes up half the page, scrunching the e-mail folders and message stuff onto the bottom of the page. I can't get to the mail folders - no navigation bar on that part of the page. When replying to a message, the message area itself is impossible to read - nearly nonexistent. The addition of fonts, colors, etc. is lovely but if you can't read or write the e-mail easily it's no good. Please fix these bugs and all the others I'm forgetting to mention...

How long can we expect for this transition to take place? We are going through a transition here at work and I need to be able to communicate with our new contractors through this email and so far, I can't send or receive email and I still can't see my 2007 and 2008 emails and I have a couple of really important emails from March that I need access to.

Please someone from Care2 respond and let us all know what is being done and how long we can expect to be waiting. Also, can we get access to the old set up while we wait for you to work out the bugs.

I have had absolutely no problem figuring out what this new interface is capable of - I knew how to change the reading pane, I accessed the options (once I reconfigured my whole screen so the link actually showed up - there is no scrolling option in the left navigation window, and I still have to shut my toolbars off to allow the viewing window to be bigger so I can get to it) and set up everything that I was able to set up, it functions so far for receiving mail, and I noticed the (new as of today) link at the top for looking at my old account interface that has everything from before the switch. My (continued) problem is that: a)first of all everything was supposed to come along with the switch, I don't feel I should have to go into another screen/what is essentially an entirely different format to be able to see this stuff - old emails, contacts, signature settings, folders; none of this has come along, I shouldn't have to manually re-enter all this information, and though I don't have that many contacts I am sure the people that have tens worth or more are seriously peeved about this: is it going to be rectified? it strikes me as extremely inefficient if it turns out that this is going to be the way it works ('click here' to see your old stuff). b)the issue with the overall screen-size (not the reading pane, that's no problem) that hides important links. c)the still non-existent options for things like appearance, etc - where are they? Overall I like it and I am very enthusiastic about what it is *supposed* to do - but I guess my point is that so far it *doesn't*, and I am sure we would all really appreciate an explanation as to the problems being experienced as well as the current state of the process. I hope I have been clear in stating my account's glitches. Thank you.

Oh please, please don't make me switch my email.. I've had this one for 5 years now? But I will if they can't reconfigure this into a more user friendly format. The banner ads take up half my screen (I have a 17" monitor) but need to keep it at a low resolution w/ big font to make up for my old eyes.
This means can't scroll the folders, or see the messages since they no longer open in a separate window.

I liked the old (purple) email acct better. The new one is Very Difficult to use. & there was no warning that it would happen. I justsaw this today, April 2. because now I have to look around & figure everything out. The little tiny box to read new messages from is eye straining. The new emails are not accessible as they are at the bottom of the screen and there is no up scroll. If I can't keep my old account , I willSTrongly consider leaving. THanks. Whew! OK, emails old and new, sent and received and all else have finally arrived into the new interface for me. After spending a little time clicking on all the new buttons, I have to say [a bit grudgingly] that this looks like it really is going to be better, in general [I do like the green better than purple, and I really do like having the option of a preview box]. So mostly all is well. BUT: what I do find maddening is a] the massive amount of space used at the top for the heading and ads; b] the locked-in column widths...I would much prefer to be able to adjust as needed; c] the split pages of the list of contacts....I'd like the option to have all on the same scroll-able page. That being said, I think otherwise I may actually like this, once I get used to it....and it might be rather fun to assign colors to everyone so as to see quickly who's sent emails.....I do hope everyone experiencing problems do get all their emails at the very least....not having access, and not being warned we weren't going to have access for 24 hours or more, definitely has been a real problem.

PS: Yes, the column on the inbox page is adjustable as far as how big/small to make the preview window [and the preview can be turned off altogether if desired] BUT the left-hand column listing the folders is maddeningly too narrow and unadjustable....unless I'm missing something?

Over 2 inches of my screen are taken up by ads on top of the Care2 logo... how annoying is that! I hope this will change. I like the Care2 logo, but the ads on top really minimize the e mail area. I hope this is temporary. Thanks.

I know I'm harping, but there is another thing I am taking issue with: the 'help' (link up at the top next to log out) page does not seem to correspond entirely with this interface. For instance, it says there is a 'Tools' option in the left navbar - there is not. It says that to do a search in your mail, click the 'Mail Finder' link under 'Tools', but I see this distinctly as 'Search'. Then there are again the references to such things as 'Appearance Changer' and 'Favorites' that do not exist. It would be nice if the email help file would actually pertain to the email, as well as including information for things that ARE in the mail interface (such as what the stars are for - while I am sure folks can figure this stuff out, they shouldn't have to), which it doesn't. Oh yes - still no transport of previous interface information. I am really beginning to be frustrated.

Very agitated! I cannot retrieve my messages at all. I see I have new messages but cannot access them. I'm surprised no warning was sent beforehand so we could have at least prepared for this. How could you do that to customers who rely on your e-mail service? I would expect better from Care2.

I'm using Firefox and finally got my old e-mails and folders, but have trouble getting e-mails into those folders. Not all of the time, mind you, just intermittently. And I can't figure out what some of the stuff is for--I'm not a computer expert, just a newbie, and used to a Mac, not a pc, so lots of this is figuring it out for myself as it is. But when my ol' reliable Care2.com doesn't react the way it used to, and I can't figure out where everything is at or why things aren't working all of a sudden, or why I'm getting duplicate e-mails in my inbox and junk mail box, I just want my old Care2.com back. I liked it so much I never wanted to give up my old e-mail, so please fix things for people like me. Thanks. Angi N

Anyone else having problems with some of the folder buttons not responding? I do and I have to click on the Welcome button in order for me to get into my inbox. For those of you having issues with viewing the page simply push the F11 button to get the full screen. I hope this helps until they figure out what is going on. Please stop with the whining...I know it is frustrating but lets put it in perspective...at least your not in Iraq watching your homeland being blown into oblivion, am I right?

It's all sorta... squished together, isn't it? The ad up at the top and the little menu-thing tage up a third of the page, and I keep trying to scroll down and forget I can't. The folders/menu/etc. area is small, and I have some trouble with it.

The email page doesn't really bother me to much; it's just like MSN more or less. Too many sections though: I have to scroll through my mail, then scroll down to SEE the mail, then scroll it up again to reply/delete/spam it... :(

And where'd the link to the old page go? It's not there anymore. I miss the purple.

I am having a terrible time with the new email, and I don't know if it's temporary or not. The viewing area is tiny and sits at the bottom of my screen. I can't open it up to a larger size. I also cannot compose a message, because I can only access the address and subject lines, nothing else. It's a disaster at this point.

Also, what happened the html composing options, such as backgrounds and pretty lettering etc?

Hello! I must say that although I see the planned changes as positive, I am very frustrated by the fact that I received no warnings of this change. I have now been unable to access my e-mail account for 4 days, and as I am a university student that uses this address as my primary e-mail address, I have suffered some pretty serious consequences as a result of this. I really hope that this transformations process will soon end, so that I can again check my mailbox (which by that time will probably full of important e-mails that I haven't been able to read. Care2 lost my trust as a result of this and I am now planning on using this as my secondary e-mail address. I hope that my comment has an effect on how you will carry on such changes in the future!

Could you put the link to the old page back up? I - and many others by the looks of it - would like to be able to flip through the pre-2008 stuff that didn't come over. Most of my folders are either empty or have lost a LOT; I have over 2000 messages achived in one of them! ((Granted, I was going to delete most of them soon anyway, but I'd rather have been able to do it at my own pace.

I really don't like the compressed feeling from the ads, and the folders, and other STUFF. I work on a laptop most of the time and this is my most-used email account; all this is starting to annoy me.

Shout out to Jereme B for the F11 tip. Thank you! I may stick with this for a few more days. But my 19" montitor still too small to get Care-2's full page on my screen. At least when it is set at resolutions and font sizes I normally use.

Bottom line - I like Care-2, would like to continue to use it, but I will change if they can't address these issues. It would be nice to hear something from the Care-2 folks on this - they must be monitoring the comments? CARE-2 COMMENT BACK Please.?

Come on Care2 you have to be monitoring the comments.....so why not give us an update on the progress? It looks bad when people are asking whats up and they get nothing but silence. You can post an announcement that the site will shut down @ 10pm Pacific the last couple of nights so why not slip a little note in there to give us an update? People are freaking out and threatening to leave the community. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN! You didn't let the Bush administration handle the change over....or did you?

I'm sure the new interface is great but I am unable to access my email at all for the fourth day in a row, I am getting "errD2003 The service is not available" from all of the links to the email page (the top right "email" link from the homepage, the email link under free services, mycare2 page "check mail (18 new)", from my account "go to webmail", all bring me to this same message, and the browser is done, not filtering anything, I've let it sit for an hour, nothing. Is there a new "welcome page" that I'm just not aware of? I was out of town for a few days last week, but other than that I check my email quite regularly. I don't care about checking it in the old or new style, I just want to check it! Please advise me, is there something obvious that I'm just not seeing? Thanks for your help. All the best, Jessica

It's impossible to just open an e-mail with this new interface! The only way is to right-click each email and highlight Forward, and send it to one's alternate e-mail in order to view our Important messages.

However, The CONTACTS or address book is a complete mystery......first of all, it cannot be located; the icon we are told to locate and use is not visable; secondly, there is no option in the help section to send a question that is NOT answered or is not clear in the "canned" instructions. I am putting this note here hoping someone reads it and can tell me how to really locate CONTACTS.

To view your contacts, click the blue and green two-person Contacts icon in the top navigation bar.

I am unable to do this....the blue and green two-person Contacts icon does NOT appear anywhere.

I am grateful that all my mail, old and new has arrived safely.

I notice that there are NO responses to the comments posted here.....how will we know the answers to our questions??

It has been a week now since i've been trying to open my inbox and contact care2 assistance patiently about not being able to do so with no response. Has anyone figured out a way to get to their original inbox items and/or their new messages? If so, i'd trade worthwhile chocolate delicacies and Asian ecletic bodywork with hot rock nuances from uncharted micronesian islands.

I just found out about the new email interface. It's telling me I can't use email unless I turn on Javascript. I keep Javascript turned off at all times because there's no way to keep our network connections secure with it on. Please remove all Javascript requirements. I can't send or read any email. Very disappointing!

Dear development team,

I like the new interface. especially the scrolling option. However because of the enormous advertisement at the top of the screen, only a little "message reading window" is available. This is very annoying since it is not possible to see more then a couple of lines text and especially pictures can not be viewed in one piece. I hope it is possible to have a look at this problem and maybe change or remove the advertisement.

What in the heck is going on here? I really dislike this new email system. There is no way to set preferences. There is too much wasted space on the screen that should be used for the actual mail. I'm not even able to open my email today. Is any one from Care2 looking at these entries? I'm giving this site another couple of days and then I'm closing this account.

Hi Saskia, Look for the small white icons in the top right...they will change the layout of the page to either a vertical split or the X will allow the message to open up when clicked on. You can also change your mail preferences by clicking on options.

Cannot access folders from inbox. Cannot delete; little message about "please select one or more to do this". The "check all" button doesn't wirk, at least on the junk/trash folders. I have tried to "junk always" care2 messages, but they keep popping up despite this.

the screen view icons don't work. the select all icons don't work. i can't respond to emails. the response box is about 1 pixel tall, and i have to type blindly and hope my typos aren't too atrocious. i can't delete messages from the inbox. almost half the screen is ads, and i can't get to my address book or the option button, because of all the ads on top!!! i'm very frustrated. i will give you a short time to work this all out, and if this doesn't happen, i'm closing this account.

Is there *any* idea why I mostly can't see any mail. Occasionaly there will actually be the mail in my inbox but, about 90% of the time, I go there and the message is that it's empty. Is there ever going to work?

First, I want to say that I really like the new interface. I was already suscribing to Care2 network but wasn't too sure about the old version of the email and was waiting before leaving my old provider. Now, with the improved features and the bigger storage space an attachment, no hesitation.

But like others before me, I have to say it's true that the add banner takes a lot of space and I can't see the POP option on the left side in IE and I can see the top of it in Firefox(2). And it's hard to find an email in a list since it appears really short. But I really appreciate the pop-up view window composer and reader. Unfortunately, the pop-up composer doesn't work in Firefox (but the reader does and both do in IE). if this new mail system has been completed, will care2 please send an e-mail to lvuford@care2.com. i can't get the horizonal or the green/blue icons to word-can't get my file folders-up down button won't work, can't send e-mails. can hardly read the print without a magnifying glass. a lost of my e-mails are gone. thx, charlotte

Sorry guys, this upgrade was not made by Care2. We are working with the tech team of our email service provider to make improvements. Your feedback about what is/isn't working is helpful...keep it coming. The opinions not so helpful since we didn't make these changes. Thank you.

When will I be able to see a 'help' or 'how to...' for this new not so sure improved email system? I can't see my old folders and they have important info in them I really need too see and use. What is Dyanmic, Explorer, Static, I miss the inserting of pix in email now. I don't remember being notified about the change i logged and and kerpow there it was! Silly me, I thought I could use options, I can't even see anything that says options where is the options icon? I think I am missing the old C2 email...or maybe all the bugs should have been worked out be the big change. I really don't like the delete box. Ok right now I am totally frustrated with the new email system. I think I should set up one of email accts for c2 contacts. Its difficult to use when all the icon don't work as you think they should or aren't there...i.e. no options icon and how can I see my old folders????

Does anyone know how to contact Care2 to get answers for problems relating to the new email. I'd have to have them send the answer to another email address because I can't open any email at Care2. The left hand menus start halfway down the page and I can't see them all. The major top portion of the screen is blank. Frustrating!

I am not receiving any new mail. This is VERY frustrating, as I have missed a few important community announcements as well as had a terrible time communicating with my landlord. I think I'm about to jet to a new server.

I've decided that I really preferred the old email. I was just reading one and the whole thing disappeared - blank screen. I had to go back and start over. Isn't there some way, as with hotmail and yahoo, that we could choose to use the old one instead?

The 'select all' buttons still don't work. Why do you go to the 'Welcome' screen when trying to get to the mail first? Deleting Care2 mails getting harder. I've had to hunt through my junk mail folder to find most of my mail. To delete things in my trash or junk folder, I have to go to them, go to another area, go back, and THEN it deletes them. When I'm clicking the "previous" button through my mail, it will 'skip' through some of them, and I have to go back to the inbox to look at them. My contacts still come up, but it takes so long my screen saver kicks on before it's up.

I get that you didn't do the 'upgrade', but there's more bugs here than when Windows XP came out! :(

Problems:
1. page still too large for window, accommodations must be made in order access bottom page links
2. contacts and settings never imported
3. care2 daily group digests are no longer being received, neither by my junk mail folder nor my inbox. I have many groups I subscribe to, the only way I can keep up with them is through the daily digest option, and some of them are very important - I checked them all to make sure they were set properly, so I can only assume it's the email causing this issue.
4. the help file still doesn't correlate to this interface (besides the obvious generic 'how-to-use-email' instructions).
Everything else works fine - messages function properly, folders work, it generally does what I want without giving me any hassle, though a couple of the options I have altered (repeatedly) refuse to acknowledge the change.

Unnecessary Opinions:
1. I don't give a rip what it looks like - it's a free service, I have no right to complain - I just want it to operate.
2. Most of the people having an issue with the looks, features, and navigability is the fact that, for them, nothing is working the way it's supposed to, it seems nothing is being done about it, and they are not getting any help to deal with it. Of course people are going to prefer the old interface, regardless of it being slower and less customizable - they could actually USE it.

For anyone caring to read this, I'd like to offer what little help I can:
1. press F11 (thanks Jerome) to open your viewing window to full capacity - press again to revert. This should pull up the hidden links for Options, Contacts, and view and manage for your folders.
If out of necessity you have very large font settings and/or low screen resolution, it will probably be necessary to change that temporarily - long enough to access your Options and set things the way you want them.
2. to change the message viewing format, there are 3 little white squares in the far right corner of the green header bar (Welcome, ), next to the page number denotation - one does vertical split, one does horizontal split, the other does full.
3. if most of your mail is inexplicably going to junk, you'll have to disable the junk mail filter in Options.
4. to go directly to the inbox instead of the welcome screen, you can set this preference also in Options.
5. if you liked the old compose/message-view pop-out option, it is still available.

I am sure there are other particulars that I didn't go over - if any one would like more detailed instructions, or has a different problem I didn't list, please feel free to email me and I will be happy to do what I can to help: draes@wildmail.com. Obviously bugs such as your screen blanking out or messages not deleting/moving will be a mystery to me - that's a program error, and I don't have access to the program - but most anything dealing with functionality problems I should be able to assist.

I like the new interface. For anyone who has ever used web mail I'm sure they will like it too. Any time you take on a project like this you are bound to have glitches and trust me Care2 is working on the fixes. I am a web designer and developer so I'm amazed with the size of this undertaking that there aren't more problems. Please be patient and I'm sure Care2 will work out all the problems. Kudos Care2!

This new interface doesn't work! The view window doesn't work - the only way to read an email is to Reply to Sender!! 1/4 of all my emails are directed to Junk Mail!! Once I'm in Junk Mail, the Inbox becomes unaccessable!! Too many Bugs!!!!!!

Every day I like this new email less and less. I tried to delete a message from junk mail and was not allowed to do it. finally clicked on "emty junk" and got rid of it.
Then it asked if I wanted to add a name to my address book. Sure, except it won't allow you to type in the person's name.
to reply to a message, I still have to click reply, then go back to the message and click reply a second time.
I'm really unhappy with this. I've started to tell people to use another email server.

Folders are still buggy. I go to trash of junk mail, try to do the "select all" button, but it doesn't. Then I try to individually click them and delete, but it says nothing is selected. I have to go to another page and come back or restart the page and do it all over again.

Purple is missed.

I can now bring up my inbox, after 3+ weeks of being unable to do so. But now when I want to forward an email or compose and send an email, a screen appears which says "We're sorry. You've encountered an unexpected error." I'm told to try again or log out then back in; I've done both many times without it working. Then I'm told to contact you via Member Support Form; so I click on that and I'm sent back to my inbox; no "form" or anything. What can I do to be able to forward emails or to send emails I compose? Please help. Thanks.

When I try to reply to an email, forward an email, or compose and send a new email, a window appears that says "We're sorry. You've encountered an unexpected error." As you know, it says you can try again, or log off then on, etc, none of which works. Then it gives you the ability to click on "Membership Support Form." OK, you click on that and you're sent to your inbox. No "support" of any kind. What do I have to do to send emails, either those I write or receive, or to reply to received emails? I need your help right away. Frustration has already set in as this has been going on for 2+ weeks. What can be done? I'm still receiving emails, so please email me with a/the solution. I'm going on over a week unable to get my email due to error: errD2007. I know Care2 has millions of members to respond to, but even if an announcment on the Home Page stating the problem is being addressed would give us hope.
