It Happened in the Bagel Shop

Today, I was sitting alone in the bagel shop eating lunch and reading Steiger's Star People and a girl came and sat at the table next to mine. She was just minding her own business and all. Then something in my head started to shake (literally) and it clicked (I heard it) and it got unusually bright. The walls are a creamy white and this light coming from me bounced off the wall and I believe it hit this girl because I looked up to see if I was just imagining it, and she was squinting her eyes and giving me this look like, "What on earth are you doing?!" And I just quickly averted my eyes back to the book and calmed myself down, taking deep breathes. While this was happening I felt high anxiety.
