Anti Islamic and anti-Arab rhetoric

with yet another wave of anti-islamic and anti arab sentiments flooding through care2, i hope u would consider finding out the truth from the horse's mouth.

u may think u know it all. u do but what u probably know all too well is the whole warped version that the media is dishing out. those who control the media control the world. muslims and arabs do not control the media..

i invite everyone to join this group about the truth about islam to judge for urself what islam is about and what it teaches. it is not anyone's intention to convert anyone in this group. it is a group of ppl learning about this very popular yet obscure faith.

I think it is neccessary to accept the fact that there are extremists in every faith-life doesnt mean much to some people. We at the care network can be a force for change in a our various communities and through our actions (which should be based on tolerance and love) help stem the tide of extremists around us, particularly with those yet to be co-oopted

I would hope to see a total rejection of the tactics which Islamofascists are employing in Iraq against people of their own religion in an attempt to destabilize the fledgling nation there.

Hi Amin,yep,that's why I have a very strong distasted for watching news on television,but fortunately there are also two organizations which teach the Islamic religion/arts quite thoroughly,Yours being the first and probably being best,and also ABHA Communities Center www.Islamuneveiled.Org, and The Council of American-Islamic Relations www.cair.com,from which I received a 2,000page Quran,explains everything in detail.It is the Best authoritative treasure I've been able to study.

Thank you for your thoughtful words and enlightenment. I would like to ask, Is it true that Muslims cannot have dogs as pets? I was recently given a Yorkie by my daughter and son-in-law to comfort me after the death of my husband. Do I have to give him up?
