I am a crime victim now, it happened inside a hotel on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, a small island with thousands and thousands of foreign workers brought in to build a resort. These men were brought into the country without any immigration procedures nor personal work permits issued by the Bahamian govt. They placed these men into hotels with a never ending amount of tourists coming and going. The hotel did not make them register and says they do not know them even though they lived there for years. I was drugged within 32 hours of our arrival, a knife held to my throat and raped all night long. I reported and yet these men were left inside that hotel with everyone else. My petition is to speak up to the Bahamian govt and their Ministry of Tourism, to make them think about safety issues, they sell vacation packages and yet this happens.
