Blog: Teachers day 2008

Teachers Day 2008…

So, on May 14, 2008, it was Teachers Day. It’s the day when we, as students in middle or high school appreciate our teachers, no matter how many referrals or detentions they gave you, you’d be still thankful for them.

I did wanted to appreciate some of my teachers (3 of them at least), each of them are given a gift, from me to them.
My bio teacher wanted a lifetime supply of sharpies, and he totally forgot about this day. He is so forgetful. And ever since the beginning of the year, he has been blaming on our 2nd period class for stealing  them. But I gave him a pack of four so he can shut up.

My English teacher made a list if gifts she wants for teachers day. More like a Christmas Wish list:
--Anything Care Bears
--Copy printer paper
--Post its
--Sharpies
--FOOD!!!
She is my favorite teacher, So…why fulfill one of her wishes with a card and a pack of post its? I mean, all of her classes uses post its a lot!! For every assignment.

My Spanish teacher from last year doesn’t accept gifts that were bought from money (except food and cards). A simple card and a simple message from the heart is a perfect gift for her. So, I fulfilled her wish and gave her what she wanted.

So…today actually was BORING!!!

But what’s more important is that we appreciated teachers thanking them for their hard work…
 Happy Teachers Day!!!
