I wanted to share a website with you that is a good idea to visit. With all the news about internet preditors luring our kids via websites, I thought this would be a good time to share this website and I hope that who ever reads this will copy and take this, and also USE this information!  
I put in my son's address who lives not too far from Ron and I.  And at that time, a couple of months ago, there were  39  criminals in our area!  And that's just the ones listed!  
I sent this on to everyone in my address book.  A little later that day, my (once, and always will be) daughter in law wrote and told me that she and her husband had bought a truck the day before!  And when she went to the website I just sent her, she clicked on one of the dots close to where they live, and guess who's pix popped up!  The man who sold them the truck!  So, you never know!   This only takes a few minutes, and if you have kids or grandkids, or you live alone, it's good to know who your neighbors are!

When you visit
this site you can enter your address and a map will pop up with your
house as the small icon of a house and red, blue, green, dots surrounding
your entire neighborhood. When you click on these dots a picture of a
person will appear with an address and the description of the crime he or
she had committed. I was really shocked at how many of these people were
in my neighborhood. The best thing is that you can show your children
pictures and see how close these people live to your home or school.

Hey Patti M!!!! We don't have that here in Canada, all the sex offenders are pretty safe here. But I am going to (attemp)lol to get your blog in some other sites where it will get noticed and be put to good use. Thanks
