I Love China and its Animals

Hi, I'm the newest member of Spotlight on China. A friend from Care2 invited me to join. I've been to Hong Kong and China--Canton Province. I've seen the market where they sell live ducks (and dogs) to people to slaughter themselves (or they will do it for you). I never saw a Snow Leopard, but it is my favorite animal (after my Senegal parrot Penny who talks in sentences and is my companion). The Snow Leopard is so rare, living in the Himalayan Mountains like Everest and K2. I live on a mountain in California (8000 feet). We have the only Alpine Zoo in America.  We actually have a Snow Leopard (poor thing, in a small containment). Save the Snow Leopards! Make China see how beautiful and precious they are (as well as the Panda and other native Chinese animals).
