(At the latest count, 560 people have signed the petition, this is wonderful, but the horses will die without funds to help NOA rehabilitate them!!)

Very Important Update on 90 starving horses at Vucijak Farm, Bosnia:

The situtation for the starving horses at Vucijak Farm has worsened. We already know that 3 poor foals have died but there are also 4 foals in a critical condition, we have just had this update from NOA:

At the time of NOA's last assessment, 4 foals were in critical condition, and will be unlikely to recover in the conditions at the farm. Bad news is expected for these foals. There are also grave concerns for mares in foal close to their due date. NOA have been waiting for a grant from WSPA which would have allowed them access to care for the horses 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the banks have had administrative problems and the grant has not yet been received.

 Further problems have been reported today 28 May 2008 which could take a further week to resolve. Add to this the fact that the temperatures in Bosnia are currently ranging from 31-36 degrees centigrade and will only get hotter. NOA had planned to have access to the farm before the temperature rose to these levels, but due to the administrative errors, the horses will be left to suffer and starve in the heat for another week without any help. Even when the grant from WSPA finally arrives, it will not be nearly enough to care for these animals for any more than a short time.

Help Save Starving Lippizanner Horses at Vucijak Farm Petition

90 Lipizzaner Horses at Vucijak Farm in Bosnia are being kept in appalling conditions, suffering from starvation and fatigue. The horses are dying. These horses need our help urgently. Three foals have already died due to starvation and conditions at the farm more are expected to die in the days to come.

Emergency Appeal for Horses at Vucijak Farm

The managment of farm, its staff, was starving horses on purpose,  keeping them in the bad condition for years systematically in order to be able to attract donations and aid that would then "dissapear" without trace. On the other hand, the Ministry of Agriculture of Republika Srpska was the perfect ministry for the money laundry of the Republika Srpska yearly budget funds, the money  would end up in the hands of ruling leadership without incriminating traces or evidence. Moreover, the farm Vucijak was important part in this money laundry scam since it was on the budget list of the ministry.

"Out of 80 millions KM, 60 millions KM will dissappear in the hands of politicians..." - citation of insider.

Hence, while the farm managment did their scam, starving and neglecting the horses and trying to lure the donations in, keeping the farm in constant need of aid and assitance.   The ministry could not do anything to prevent it or help the horses because then the farm managment could talk and reveal the money laundry scam of the ministry,( the farm staff would talk).</font>
