Blog: New Church First Day

well, it was my first day, new church and it was great.  my granddaughter and i walked with sun shining and the soft breeze blowing just enough to ruffle my skirt.  we walked in the front door and greeted so warmly by a few women of the church. everyone just a smiling.  i like to sit in front but being new we sat in the middle.  it's not the new style Christian that was like my other church. i liked that but it was nice to come back to a more traditional church.  it may need alittle livening up but all takes time. we were asked to stay for a get together for a church member that is going to california at 90 some years old.  go girl!!  the people there were all very pleasant and acted as if i had always been there.  and this may be all in  my head  but i like the fact that it was established the year i was born, one of the courtyards has these huge metal chimes that are so beautiful sounding and i love chimes and then there's a large gardenia bush with the most wonderful smelling flowers and those are my most favorite.  and one more thing, has anyone read the series Left Behind?   if you have then you know who rayford and bruce are.  bruce is the pastor and  rayford  or actually it is radford, my mistake, is the interim associate pastor.   i know the  characters aren't pastors but i  found in to be oh i don't know, just that something as we are studying the Revelations.  anyways, i had a great spiritual time and for the first time , these past few days i feel like i walk in Gods glory and that it shows.  thanks for listening and i hope you all have a great sunday.   God Bless and Peace.
