July 14, An Evening of Native American Poetry and Music, WA   So I've been busy doin alot of stuff. But I have not forgotten my friends and Sharmagne Leland-St John is a dear friend. She asked me if I could possibly offer some exposure for an event and of course I agreed. After all, I am an entertainment writer (when I'm not being a Krusty news journalist)

If you're in the Washington/Oregon area you might consider attending this and other great events sponsored by ION.

Event: An Evening of Native American Poetry and Music

Date: Mon. July 14, 2008

Time: 7 pm - 9:15 pm

Location: The Sanctuary at East Shore Unitarian (12700 SE 32nd, Belleve at I-90 and Richards RD) Seattle Area

Fee: $10 (Register on line) $15 at the door.

We invite you to this special evening dedicated to weaving beauty, grace, and passion in the Sanctuary at East Shore Unitarian.

An Evening of Native American Poetry and Music is a not for profit community event to support inspired artists who join together to gift a unique, spontaneous presentation. Each stands as a spokesperson for an original community, speaks for the Creator, and gifts their wisdom to join communities. This evening launches initiatives of collaboration among diverse communities. Please join us for...

A programme of music and poetry featuring lauded Native American poet Sharmagne Leland-St. John; Paul Nyenhuis creator of beautiful Native American flutes and player of gentle, soulful, spiritual flute music; Silversong Belcourt, founder of Honor Day; and Patricia Anne Davis, The Beauty Way.
