However, since this is 30 Days, I know I'm bound to see and hear things that will, at least, give me second thoughts, if not change my opinions completely. When it comes to animal rights, I have always been somewhere in the middle. I think killing animals...

This episode on Animal Rights shows the public's ignorance about the truths on animal cruelty issues, in our society.

The man in the show was shocked and was totally unaware of how animals are treated in these industries. Later, he agrees that the animals need more protection, rights, and deserve respect. 

We need to educate people in our society about the cruelties factory farm food animals, companion animals, animals in entertainment, etc. have to go through, and that there is a REAL desperate need to change & support laws on animal rights issues and stop these horrific cruelties.

The methods and "goings-on" in factory farms, kill shelters, & other animal/animal products industries should be common knowledge so they can be monitored better, regulated if needed, and unaccepted if necessary.  The public should be completely informed about the methods used in animal industries, and if cruelty exists, people can make better choices for our societies animals. Most people once they KNOW of animal cruelties want to stop it, most just need some education on the subject, and the know-how to change it.
