Message: Please pay tribute to a lost brother, Gene Anderson, passed away June 17  



I have learned today that a friend, a care2 brother, has passed away.  Gene Anderson was a caring, compassionate, wonderful friend, and brought a smile to anyone's face who had the pleasure to know him.  His presence & loving attitude will be greatly missed.  For those of you who were friends of his, please take a moment to leave a comment on his page, and if you did not have the pleasure of his acquaintance, here is his webpage link - http://my.care2.com/legchekker

……..4 or 5 months ago, I don’t remember well, I noticed that Gene wasn’t in my friends list; I didn’t worry about it, I was very busy at my school & I only read what interested me, without caring about my male friends list.
When I looked for editing a post, on the first days of June, I remembered what he taught me about colours & shapes so I looked for his page in my friends list & I didn’t find him.
I continued to be very busy but, on the half of July, I researched Gene’s profile on Care2 without results; holidays were approaching so I intended, reserved to search him on my coming back.
Today, while I was reading about a new friend, Henry P. from Livermore ME, my attention was caught by a post of Joanne M. from IL, I looked at Joanne’s photos & sharebook & I found the very sad new about Gene: what a pity!
I was struck by sadness; how courteous was he! I can state he was “a gentleman of other times”, a man of gallantry as few ones are today!
I’ll pray for him & his family……..there is a great void without him & only prayers can fill in!
