Top 10 List: Musicians  



I decided to throw out my top ten favorites musicians since I feel like I was a bit lazy in my listing of music on my profile page, and I thought this would be amusing.  For the most part, these are not in specific order, well aside from number one being my absolute favorite.
  1. Johnny Cash--My all time favorite musician ever, I grew up on his music, I didn't realize how much it meant to me until I moved away from home for the first time.
  2. Social Distortion--these guys are just so inspiring to me, Their music is a good wake up call when I feel like I have it rough and want to give up.
  3. Ani Difranco--her muic carried me through some of the darkest moments of my life
  4. Henry Rollins--He's just not afraid to say how he feels he doesn't tiptoe around anything he just puts it out on the line
  5. Leonard Cohen--Do I really have to say anything on this one? The man has a beautiful voice and can give words their own life
  6. Tom Waits--he's just a genious or insane...it's a very fine line between brilliance and madness.
  7. The Dresden Dolls--they just make me happy
  8. The Dead Kennedys--my first introduction to punk rock
  9. Glenn Dnazig both with Danzig and the Misfits
10. Patsy Cline--Her voice is just so beautiful
