A pretty uneventful day.

Don is not doing well today.  His sugar was 70 this morning, and ever since it's been running close to 300.  He feels horrible and has taken pain meds again.  It is becoming obvious that he needs them every day now.  This from a man who wouldn't even take a Tylenol...  So I know he's in pain.

I did manage to get to Publix and pick up a few groceries, and some mailing envelopes for some of the swaps I need to send out and also for the books I need to send out from BookMooch.

I do a lot of swapping on both.

I planned on making bbq chicken for supper, but he decided he wanted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so that's what we had.  Great for the sugar.

That's the bad part. It's so hard to watch him like this and I know it will only get worse.  I am so glad we got to go away when we did.

I need to catch up on a bunch of things and had planned on doing that but I didn't get very far.  I'm getting there, so by the time the post office opens on Monday, I should make it there.

I just started a new book.  I picked up a few while I was out, and so I guess that's what I'll do to unwind tonight while I listen to him breathe.  It's times like this that I am scared to go to sleep when he is having a bad day.  Then I start having panic attacks and it's a vicious cycle.  HA HA..  Oh well......That's my life and I'm rolling with the punches.

I'll try to write more when I can.  It's either all or nothing when I get a chance.

Take care and thanks for keeping us in your prayers and checking in on us.

Hugs

Denise Jo
