Blog: A Soldier, My Brother, My Friend.  



When darkness falls the memories of you taunt me.
I can see you, I can feel you, But I cant ever really reach you.
Sleeping soundfully does not exist for me.
For some reason you left me here with images of you.
Tears stain my pillow as I try to hold it tight.
I get up in the morning hoping that its all been a bad dream.
                     That I am not alone....
I look at your pictures, your uniform, your phone.
Wanting so much to hold you.
Then it hits me....
                    You are forever gone....
My heart will never be complete.
Those images will forever be stained in me.
I am broken, I am mad, I am hurt....
                   And the bitter truth is .....
                   I will forever be alone!
                   Wondering Why?
