Blog: Intelligence and Peace

We look to the sky at the bird that made a deposit on our windshield,
I say hello beautiful creature. Some gripe angrily at it.
But why be angry at the bird. Look into the sky and praise this creature, it's flight shows us freedom from the bounds of the earth, it's song fills our hearts with joy, and it's colors fill our hearts with beauty.

The Bee we venture too close to the home of, stings us, to many this brings out violence at this creature. I apologize for not paying attention to my surroundings and threatening it's home. It's existence brings about a beautiful color and aroma to nature as it pollinates the flowers we show, treasure, and admire.

The bear that ventures from the forest and raids our trash, to many brings about a reaction of fear and anger. To me a heightened sense of awareness as this majestic creature is not invading my home, rather I am sharing his.

The man down the street with a learning disability, avoided by so many, referred to as stupid, Yet this man carries an unconditional love for all his brothers and sisters.

People see something different, they fear it, but think what would life be if we were all exactly the same? There is no smart or stupid, there is no not belonging. Every creature upon this earth human or not has purpose here, lose one of them and everything changes. Can you drive a car with out wheels?, perhaps find shelter in a house with no roof? Or how about quenching your thirst with dry sand?

No one is any smarter or less smart than anyone else, What one lacks in one area they make up for in another. Every living thing one this planet Creator put here for a reason. Lose one it all eventually crumbles. Point your finger in ridicule at another, eventually you become the outcast.

Treat all things living with the same respect you would to your own brother or sister.. then the world will finally be at peace, we will have succeeded.
