SEA OF ONE

I sit on the window sill watching the sea
a blissful-like feeling it overcomes me
soothed now I am by the ocean's persuasion
the swell of the waves on each rising occasion

I find I'm drawn in by the ebb and the flow
observing the movement - the come and the go
like each breath I take - there's an in and out
somehow the sea is what life's all about

The rhythm, the pulse in this centre of being
has me engulfed and is ever so freeing
merging, emerging I watch all the more
I feel myself floating right into the shore

A drop in the ocean some think does not matter
yet without this drop the result is a tatter
for while one is here in this ocean of time
a drop to the ocean's perfection sublime

Within the drop is the crystal reflection
the whole of the ocean in all its perfection
the value of each is reflected in all
and perfect is this so no longer the fall

So in this observance as one with the sea
I know I am it and the sea it is me
All That There Is is expressed through each drop
and together do merge with the One at the Top

So I sit on the window sill watching the sea
with this blissful-like feeling surging through me
soothed by the ocean - its rise and its fall
I know I am One with the Is that is All
