Woo hoo Sa is back at least on a land line, and a great chat was had last night, as I looked out at a bright full moon in the early hours I thought of fave Capricorns in their own little dreamscapes separated by a wall July 17, Thursday. The Moon conjuncts Jupiter (16 Capricorn) and the fullest rise of the Capricorn Full Moon is tonight with the Sun setting very close to the time the Moon is rising in the western time zones sometime between 8 and 8:30 pm local time depending on your horizon line. The Capricorn mysteries are linked with the wisdom we can gain from the elders, the Grandmothers, our ancestors and the ancient ones. The greatest amounts of wisdom, insights and growth are possible when we are look at the heritage given to us by our ancestors and the elders still in our lives. At this Turning of the Ages it is important to shine the light of awareness on all that has come before us so we are not driven by unconscious fears or patterns that we may have inherited from our lineage. James Redfield spoke of this in the Celestine Prophecy when he talked about the control dramas that get passed from generation to generation and how many of us are here now to wake up within these dramas and to transform them.All cultures and traditions have some form of honoring their ancestors and those who have become before us. Looking at our ancestral heritage (patterns and beliefs) including our family cultural and global ancestry to gain insights into how their influence may be affecting the choices we are making now liberates us to choose more consciously and with greater wisdom based on what we have learned from them as we go forward.{celestialtimings} Proud to be a witch - well we shall have a good gathering Sa - on this theme of "wimin" LOL - I have been contemplating the strong feminist streak that several of my friends have - is it their denial of their masculinity?? Neither is perfect on it's own but to bring both aspects to the fore in ones self is to be the aim surely - to give each aspect equal merit - each having their own plus and minus parts..........creating a "balance" within the individual. Feminism has had it's day - it was needed and now we must move on.........savour our differences and our similarities!! It's no different to accepting other cultures and beliefs - on the whole men just express themselves differently, they still have the same old emotions and feelings/ups n downs etc. Grandmother, I only met my Pa's Ma once when she came to stay a while, wasn't a huge success - will I be a grandmother - mmmmmm - well who knows, it's not something I really think about and certainly not something I am emotionally attached to, I don't have the kind of ego that longs to see my genes carried forward......

Ah Val gingerbread reminds me of my first bakings, to get out of walking the dogs on a Sunday with Mother n Father {at the beginning of my teens I had tired of this weekly trudge behind them either at Cannock Case sutton park or the Licky Hills, you need to know the midlands to know of these places} I offered to stay at home and bake a cake for when they returned and for weeks it was gingerbread a very dark and gooey one, haven't made on in ages mmmmm make a change from carrot cake- now I love fresh ginger in boiling water as ginger tea in the winter, great for warming myself up inside out LOL
Interesting chatting to the J last night, it's been a long time, I reckon I had woken him from a snooze judging by the first few grunts I got when he answered, I am looking forward to spending some time with him in Oct I feel as if we are more like strangers these days and our relationship has been neglected, on the other hand he has had the space to "grow up" into a young man and this is the person I need to get acquainted with
Mirror Neurons May Be Responsible For Global Warming & U.S. Economic WoesSince their discovery in the 1990s, mirror neurons have experienced a degree of fanfare uncommon to findings in the field of neuroscience. Mirror neurons are so named because they are activated both when a primate participates in a task, and while watching another complete the same task, thus âmirroringâ the behavior of the other animal. This unique activation pattern has led some to suggest that mirror neurons are integral not only to imitation, but also to understanding that others have their own mental states (theory of mind). By extension, it has been hypothesized that mirror neurons are necessary for language acquisition and social interaction. Dysfunctions in mirror neurons have even been offered as a possible cause of autism.
Interesting snippet about Bamboo yarn especially, as I have been thinking of getting some to try, and nice to know there is a growing want to create with ecologically sound products.....{purlpower}
