My favourite things about dogs..... Sharing my life with them, all fine and dandy when pups but the real pleasure of the relationship starts when they are grown up. Then they can stay with you all day, every day and do what ever you do. Wonderful

Unconditional love is breathtaking in a dog. I dont have one but a cat and he is the same. However,my friends 4 year old golden lab, Bess is in love with me as I am of her and even more so now as she has terminal cancer which makes me all choke up. So whilst she is alive and smiling and she does, she doesnt seem to be ill at all but to see her weekly tear up to the garden gate when she hears my car arrive and other people arrive too but nope she bounds up to greet me instead. We have a great bond and I adore her, she is everything you have listed and more. She is a great learning tool to cope with death and dying and being postitive. Ah yes to own a dog a golden labrador would be great..one day ...one day or i will adopt a grey hound.

How come you get yourselve in a knot re seal hunt but clap your hands in glee when the Japanese and Norway MURDER whales for pleasure?

First of all, I do not "clap my hands with glee" when any animal gets murdered. Why would you even think to say something like that to a person that you don't even know?! I should be very upset over this, but I will be nice....if you have something to say, say it. Otherwise...do not presume to know me and what I do for when you begin to do that, you show you don't really know me at all.

Top ten things that are cute about dogs:
1. When they stare at you with their beedy little eyes.
2. When they won't walk, and they let you drag them on the sidewalk, and their bum is just dragging on the ground.
3. When they look as though they're smiling.
4. When they suddenly start whining for absolutely no reason.
5. When they follow you everywhere.
6. When they snuggle and burry their heads into your lap.
7. When they're in a playful mood, and they jump away from you when you try to pick them up.
8. When they roll over so you will pet their tummy.
9. When they get in bed with you and lie on top of the blanket so you have extremely limited space to sleep.
10. When they're very small and fluffy.

Yeah, who said anything about anyone clapping their hands with glee at the thought of murder? And for that matter, who said anything about getting tied in a knot about the seal hunt? Yes, the seal hunt is wrong, but we're talking about dogs, not the seal hunt!

Where does that 'puppy smell' come from does anybody know?
Every puppy I've ever had has had that same 'puppy smell'. It lingers long after they have been brought home away from litter mates and mum so it's not that.
Strange.
Does anyone else know what I'm talking about or is it just me?...... again!!
Blessings and Peace. Keren B.

Brought home a Yorkie puppy, Susie, at one time. Her joy was in snatching the end of the tissue paper roll and pulling it all around into the living room. And bedtime, when I turned out the light in her corner, then it was time for her to tip the water dish with her foot. Such fun! Cute as a button though.
