My Beautiful Friends

My beautiful friends

We were one of a kind

We could end each others

Sentences with out

Leaving a word behind.

 

We loved life

We loved Mother Earth

We hiked

We roamed

We talked

We smiled

We worked

We loved being together

 

At times watching

Life from a mountain top

Seeing the ocean from afar

We could be

Quiet and enjoy

Each others company

Without a word said

Yes, we had come far

 

Even animals came

To be with us

There was a peace

A halo of light

Where ever we

Would go.

 

Then one by one

Each beautiful one

Passed

A hush came

Over the land

They were no longer

there...

 

Yes then I was placed

into a sea full of strangers

As I was no longer

Near my Tribes

I felt myself pulling away

Into a spirit world with

my old friends at my side

 

But among these strangers

I keep finding

Hand fulls of stars,

Yes, beautiful stars

That have fallen

About me

After my traveling so far

 

Once more

New friends to hold

In my hands to explore

The beauty of their fire

As they shine

They have put a light back into

My eyes......

Oh I adore

New Beautiful Friends

Once more
