Kinship Circle Is Coordinating Volunteers For MuttShack

WHAT:
   KINSHIP CIRCLE IS LOOKING FOR 20 VOLUNTEERS RIGHT NOW, TO DEPLOY UNDER
    MUTTSHACK IN DENHAM SPRINGS, LOUSIANA. Denham Springs Animal Shelter is
    partially destroyed due to Gustav-related flooding...and waters are rising.
    MuttShack is currently on the ground with an MOU from Denham Springs Animal
    Shelter director, Maurice Dervin.
  • At least 150 dogs and 250 cats need prompt evacuation.
  • The shelter requires clean-up, debris removal, rebuilding.
  • Emergency animal caretakers needed in Denham Springs right away.
  • Some animals may still be stranded by floodwaters.

CAN YOU DEPLOY QUICKLY FOR:
  • Emergency animal care and sheltering
  • Shelter restoration
  • Debris removal
  • Securing property

    5. Turn left at Julia St 0.3 mi
    6. Turn right at LA-1032 0.2 mi
    7. Turn left at Bowman St 7 ft
