Permission to cross post! Do you know anyone in Yorkie Rescue? If so please pass this on to them.
Marilyn needs help. She needs volunteers, fosters and transports, etc. Lots of you may have Yorkies or know people who do. This rescue needs help or they will shut down. Save A Yorkie Rescue. Here is the website address: www.SaveAYorkieRescue.org
Let's see if we can help this rescue out. Please cross post and let's get her some active members to keep her rescue going. There is such a need for rescues if we can help them out lets go for it. I have offered to pass her info out at our events (this was from Pap911 Rescue & Adoption). In rescue we need to help each other.
Below is part of the email she sent a Pap911 director.
You wrote: "Rescue needs people who care! We need to stay in touch with other rescues so that no dogs have to fall through the cracks. And we need to stick together and demand that this kind of lazy greed does not have to happen again."
Now Marilyn's: This could not have been said at a more opportune time for me. I am trying to decide - shut down my rescue, or maybe just stop for awhile or try to go on.... I don't know what to do. Maybe you can help me. I NEED volunteers. People who love dogs and Yorkies in particular. I don't know how to find them.
I have a website: www.saveayorkierescue.org so people can sign up to volunteer, foster or adopt. I am getting no where and I am at my wits end. Any advice?????? Please help before I have to shut down.
Can anyone help? Know of anyone that can help? If so please contact Marilyn at SAYMarilyn@gmail.com
Thank you Judy Burke
