her showname is P!NK because she originally dubbed named MISTER PINK - from that movie - what was it? Reservoir Dogs.
That had "Mister Pink" as a funny character.

Well anyway, then she signed a contract and the execs wanted her to be something like another Britney Spears and they dropped the MISTER and didnt let her write her own songs, just dressed her up and gave her pop music to sing.

But by her next album, which was HUGE, she was writing her own songs and being herself, thus her song DONT LET ME GET ME - check the lyrics on that one! And Thus the Title MISSUNDASTOOD, which apparently she still is!


Judging someone by the tint of their hair is about as bad as judging someone by the tint of their skin. I just ask you to give her a chance... LISTEN to the messages in her music, dont judge her on haircolor.

Funny tidbit - she used to have a JAck Russel Terrier named F*CKER but last I heard, she was on the road a lot so he had to go to a better home.

She rocks for elephants too!

Yay! Pink does rule!! She's obviously a very intelligent woman, and a good role-model! I LOVE her "Dear Mr. President" song, I was moved to tears... I've also seen her on TV talking about young girls' self-esteem and body image, and how both of those things are just suffering from the media images and role models that girls see nowadays... She's wonderful!!

Agreed, Eles... she's smart, cool and talented. Too many airheads in Hollywood and especially in the American music business... Not to mention some cloned blondes who are famous for being famous.

Pink is such a wonderful role model, so different from the other "Hollywood Bimbos". Seeing her on the Oprah show was really cool and showed what she is all about. Pink Rocks...Pink for President !!!!!

Hey I agree with everything thats been said here, I have been a big p!nk fan since the day she came out, shes way too mature for britney or x-tina and always has been, her words in her songs are strong minded and beautiful and shes not scared of saying whats on her mind and i LOVE her for that, we need more powerful strong women in this world just like her.
