A very kind elderly, disabled man in Encino, CA, is desperately trying to get some food to feed 40 cats that come to his apt complex every night. He used to have a source that supplied him with food, but the source is no longer available. He has no money to buy food, and it is killing him because he hears the starving cats outside his window every night crying from hunger. I am taking him a large bag of food and a little wet food tomorrow morning, and another person is going to make a PetSmart run tomorrow to help him, but he will need help on a permanent basis. I wish I could provide the food for him all the time, but my income is as limited as his.
