Christmas wish for 2008

Once again we are near that time of year that has many differing beliefs for the many people here at care2 and the world we live in. Most if not all of us have things we wish for at this time of year though and I do as well. My wish has little to do with material belongings though and they pretty much remain the same from year to year, I still hope to see my wishes come true though and will now put them down yet again.

I wish to see our world experience full and complete peace, an end to all fighting the world over. We can if we wish all get along without killing and maiming each other. Nothing is really gained by it anyway and the lives lost and the suffering in not worth it. I wish to see all people's, all religions, and all governments realize that though we are not exact ally the same we are all in fact brothers and sisters, we each wish to be Happy, we each want to raise our children and we each wish to achieve our dreams whatever they may be. Only through Peace may we all experience these things, only through cooperation can we all have full stomachs, good education and complete happiness.

I wish to see an end to Hunger, Starvation, Abuse,Rape,Genocide and Disease for until these things change we can not all be equal and free from fear.

I wish to see a time when Women and Children become completely equal and treated with the respect they deserve not abused and treated as a lower species or merely chattel.

To sum up my wishes for this year I only want each and every person and animal on this Earth to feel complete and total peace without fear. I want them to feel only Love and respect from there neighbors, friends and family as they live the life we all deserve and can have if we all wish for it, we just need to help each other instead of hurting them. We may each have a little less in the end but in truth we will have so much more and we can evolve to the next level and possibly find the utopia so many searches for.

I know we as humans are capable of getting along if we wish to so why do we not? Why do we let the urges to kill and maim. To rob and steal, to beat. Rape and mentally abuse each other go on? Is it not time to change, to live life as it should be lived, to love rather than hate? Without eyes we would not see Skin color, physical differences, we would not know which religion we each attended to and we would be as one. We would pick up our brothers and sisters when they fell we would feed them when they were hungry without worry about whether they were the same as us.

Maybe we need to close our eyes and reach out to each other with our Hearts not our hands not seeing there skin color, there Nationality or whether they be man, woman or child and Love them as our family for we are all one big family and we all feel Love, Pain, Fear, Sadness and Joy is not now the time for all to feel Peace and Contentment, joy and brotherhood.

Take a few minutes please and think about how it would be if there was no disease, no more war, no more abuse, no more killing, no more rape, no more torture, no more stealing just peace and contentment the world over. Can you really say you would not like this? All we have to do is try. It can happen if we want it.
