Hi,
There are just two days left to help New Zealand’s goats! The code of welfare for goats is being considered at the moment, PLEASE take a few minutes to put your submission in before the closing date of Friday (11th June).

You may have heard the story about Geordie the goat, tethered alone for 20 years on the roadside. In the news recently, stupid local youths tagged him with spray paint, twice! Other goats have suffered more serious attacks such as being shot, set on fire or dragged behind cars. The proposed new welfare code for goats will allow roadside goats and therefore will not protect goats like Geordie. But you can, by making a submission. Yeah, it takes a while, but only 20 minutes of your life, not some 20 miserable, lonely and fearful years for the goats of New Zealand.

Use SAFE's submission letter to make yours:

Thanks so much,

SAFE team
