for animals and children, when the causes call, i am there.
Dedicated and always working towards changes, animal and child welfare issues, Constant donational fundings to various organizations. Supporting all the projects and causes out of personal pocket and earned working income.
Might ask your help from time to time for donational charity needs that benefit other organizations or even for a specific animal, or sanctuary. If i am asking, then i am fully involved at the time with that project, whether of my own resources, fundings, or volunteering in them.
This is Jodie, she is a 14 yr old BLM Mustang Mare. Jodie was almost a statistic in that the eventuality of her going to slaughter was a real possibility. Then she would have become one of the 100,000 horses that do go to slaughter annually. She has been starved, abused & beaten (whip marks on face). She is but one Wild Horse rescue and this is her, story…

I just thought this very interesting information when i read it. althou there has been no updates on this site since 2009. the fact that they kept up with all exporting of animals, the reasons for stopping various exports, or starting exports of live animals for foods souces. very very educational material for those that are interested in the live animal exporting industries.
People talk with great authority about animal rights & how people who care don't understand that animals have no rights. We have given this some thought & with regards to animal rights & responsibilities, some say they cannot have the former without the latter.
HUMANS have made themselves responsible for animals, from conception to slaughter every aspect is controlled by man. How they reproduce, what they eat, how they are kept & how they die.
THEREFORE it is humans who being responsible for these animals must give them the rights they have removed. The right to the best WELFARE in the most NATURAL way for whatever species.
Left to themselves animals control their lives without interferance from man. Wild animals have no problem with feeding, reproduction, herding etc.they were doing it long before humans evolved. Only human interferance has removed their right & opportunity to do this & humans need to restore some of these rights instead of thinking only of profit.
The right not to be artificialy inseminated, the right not to be taildocked, the right not to eat like a carnivore when being a herbivore, the right to humane slaughter & the right not to travel thousands of miles to that slaughter
It's hard to believe a year has passed since our involvement in the 3 Strikes Ranch Rescue in Nebraska. I have made a short slideshow to re-tell the story for those who don't know it.
Hope you enjoy it.
Kind regards, Jill Starr President Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue
When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.
Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages and thrown to the ground; workers bludgeon them with metal rods or slam them on hard surfaces, causing broken bones and convulsions but not always immediate death. Animals watch helplessly as workers make their way down the row.
The Facts The Animals Beavers are extremely gentle, family-oriented animals who mate for life and remain life-long friends with their children. More >>Did You Know? Ranch-raised foxes are kept in cages only 2.5 feet square, with up to four animals per cage. More >>Foxes in Boxes In the U.S., fur farms produced approximately 50,000 fox-fur pelts last year. More >>Fur Farm Exposé Our investigators witnessed not only how animals live, but also how they die in the seedy world of fur farming. 3 puppies dumped and needing homes1Monday, 9:22 AM
located in texas:
3 pups dumped and needs home, please cross post these little pups were just dumped off in the woods. a good citizen found them and brought them home to care and get them healthy again. but she can't keep them, and is looking to find homes for these cute fur babies. so please, cross post that these dogs need adoptions, they are fostered at this time, by a good person, not a rescuer, and really need to find a permanent place for them to go.
its ashame, that people will dump animals and burden the rest of us with these situations. we often time, take money we dont' have really to help the animals, we often take time out of our days to handle, train, or get these animals to vets. plus the time to post/advertise and hope for homes for them. why?/ someone didn't care if they died, another did care. its the caring that costs us! i have been her many a time. i have gotten where i just hate those people that dump their unwanted on the rest of us, that won't let the fur babies die harsh/cruel deaths in the middle of woods and highways!
for adoption or inquiry of these pups...contact the following person: Laura Roberts ________________________________ Laura Roberts Accounts Payable Western Forge & Flange (281) 727-7000 lroberts@western-forge.com
