I was in a car accident almost 30 years ago, and suffered permanent injuries that have caused me chronic pain every day of my life since then. However, I have also studied and found all sorts of ways to make my life better--more full, more satisfying, and more active. Not less.
It's my wish to help others who either have chronic kinds of pain or people that they love who have chronic pain, to also find as many ways to make their lives as complete as they can possibly be.
That's why I'm starting a group called "Hope & Help for Chronic Pain and Depression"--to have a place to share with others all the things that I have learned over the years to be less dependent on pain medication and to feel more in control of my own life, my own health, and my own happiness.
If you have chronic pain or love someone who has chronic pain, then your life is affected in all sorts of ways and this group is a safe place to learn, to vent, to share, and to feel empowered again.
