As a professional photographer, I have well over 22 years of experience some, ask why would you want to be here, on a site where there is NO talent , I simply explain I love to help, encourage people who are willing to, be dedicated as well as to be motivated. I have seen A great deal of photographs in these groups, and they are nothing to be proud about there's a lot of technical, and educational skills that lack. If anybody wants to succeed in photography he/she must, be involved with photographers and artists, not a bunch of folks getting together, in making each other feel good, I have also had the opportunity to work with some of these people and personal had to lie, to make them feel like they were make good images or they would have left the group.(real Photographers). 99.9% of the folks in these groups are producing snapshot. The majority of the folks do not know how to use the variety of Photographic the equipment.

They CAN NOT even know how to use manual cameras, they don't even know the mechanism of the craft, it's like learning how to drive a car. If you cannot dive a manual car (stick). Then you will only drive a drive an automatic.

The point I am trying to make is that you will not be worth anything with out, the proper equipment proper training, proper networking and be, around the proper people.(Photographers & Artist)

So that is why I have, the most diversified group here you are free to join us

Act now to stop hundreds of wolves from being slaughtered!

The Bush Administration is planning to kill hundreds of endangered wolves in the Northern Rockies. We need your help to save wolves from these disastrous policies.

The recovery of the gray wolf in the northern Rockies is one of the great Endangered Species Act success stories and an unparalleled feat of ecological restoration. The biologists, conservationists and wildlife managers can celebrate an amazing return of the wolf from the brink of extinction. Last year, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service took the first step toward the eventual removal of Endangered Species Act safeguards, which would leave protection entirely up to the states.

Unfortunately, the Bush Administration wants to turn back the clock on wolf restoration restoration by proposing a new rule that will allow states to kill hundreds of wolves, veven while wolves still remain under the protection of the Endangered Species Act. In fact, Idaho and Wyoming have already announced plans to "manage" wolves down to minimum levels and are likely to use this new rule to begin doing so.

Please tell the US Fish and Wildlife Service to reject the plan to weaken wolf management rules under the Endangered Species Act.

Thanks for speaking up for wildlife! For more information, please visit the Endangered Species Coalition at: http://www.stopextinction.org/wolves

Sincerely,
Derek Goldman
Northern Rockies Field Representative
Endangered Species Coalition

_________________________________________________________________________________

ACTION: Please send a comment to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service by October 11.

Talking points:
- I oppose the Fish & Wildlife Service's plan to weaken wolf management rules under section 10(j) of the Endangered Species Act. Please choose Alternative A, retaining the current 10(j) rule for managing wolves in the Northern Rockies.
- The proposed rule is tantamount to delisting-before the actual delisting process is even complete and decision finalized. With this proposal, which could be implemented as early as this fall, FWS is attempting to circumvent its own process for delisting under the Endangered Species Act.
- This rule is unnecessary. Wolves can already be killed if they attack or threaten livestock, or if they are the primary cause of elk population declines. But in fact, elk herds in all three Northern Rockies states are well over desired objectives-at all time highs in some areas. In fact, hunters are being given the most liberal elk-hunting opportunities in recent history.
- Thecurrent 10(j) rule, adopted in 2005, sets a reasonable standard that state agencies need to meet before killing wolves for impacts on elk and deer populations. The new rule would allow states to justify the slaughter of massive numbers of wolves. In fact, Wyoming and Idaho have already announced their intentions to do so.
- The American taxpayers have invested millions in the restoration of wolves to the Rocky Mountains. The U.S. FWS has a responsibility to ensure the investment is not wasted, and that wolves are adequately protected.

We have wonderful news from North Carolina: I am happy to report that Duke University School of Medicine recently confirmed that it has stopped using live pigs in its third-year surgery course. This means that only 13 medical schools (of 125) continue to use live animals in medical student courses. PCRM physicians worked hard to explain the educational and ethical advantages of non-animal alternatives to the school, and Duke deserves praise for this wise and compassionate decision.

But we still need your help. Five medical schools continue to use live animals in surgery courses. Please send a polite e-mail to these schools and ask them to follow Duke’s lead and stop using live animals to teach surgery. You can send an e-mail or write to the five medical schools that use live animals for surgery courses at the addresses below:

Medical faculty and practicing physicians know that students do not need to train on live animals to become successful physicians or surgeons. In fact, last year the American College of Surgeons (AC stopped using live animals in any of its own surgery educational and training programs. It also established a new certification program, the Accredited Education Institutes, which does not include live animal use in its surgery training guidelines. In addition, the American Medical Student Association recently took a major step toward modernizing medical education by passing a resolution strongly encouraging the replacement of live animal laboratories with non-animal alternatives in undergraduate medical education.

Learn more about the use of animals in medical education. Thank you so much for your support and for your compassion for animals. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at rmerkley@pcrm.org.

On November 21, 2006, six imams boarded US Airways Flight 300 at Minneapolis after attending a conference of the North American Imam Federation. Witnesses say that they prayed loudly invoking Allah, switched from their assigned seats to a September 11 attack pattern, spoke in Arabic and English, criticized the war in Iraq and President Bush, talked about al Qaeda and bin Laden, and asked for seat-belt extenders. They were arrested and then released. None of their actions is illegal, nor would any one action cause the pilot to ask for security intervention. When taken together, however, they raised suspicions to a very high level. "That's like shouting 'fire' in a crowded theater. You just can't do that anymore," said Robert MacLean, a former air marshal. "They should have been denied boarding and been investigated. It looks like they are trying to create public sympathy or maybe setting someone up for a lawsuit."That is precisely what has happened. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has filed a suit against US Airways for racial discrimination and religious intolerance.

It is likely that this whole episode was designed and executed for public attention to be a cause for crying discrimination. But this conspiracy may have even darker motives. Janet Levy of FrontPageMagazine writes (http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=25694):

".there may be other purposes at work here as well, namely, a campaign to undermine our focus on viable and possibly dangerous groups and populations by dismissing it as nothing more than prejudice, small-mindedness and stereotyping. In this way, our very vigilance as a nation is under attack from a form of 'cultural jihad,' that seeks to use our own values against us."

Such attempts to intimidate us and weaken not only our resistance but our view of ourselves, are commonplace in Europe where both violent and cultural jihad have been successfully waged for many years. We must reject the influence of political correctness and treat this as an affront to our culture.

Ms. Levy also wrote about Omar Shahin, one of the six imams, in FrontPageMagazine:

"In examining the Nov. 21 incident more closely, we find that among those removed, Shahin, heads a particularly intriguing organization. Founded in 1971, the ICT's [Islamic Center of Tucson] $1.5 million mosque was funded largely by the Saudi government through the North American Islamist Trust, a Saudi-backed Wahhabist group that controls a majority of the most radical mosques in North America.

"According to Washington-based terrorist expert Rita Katz, the Islamic Center of Tucson included what was "basically the first cell of Al Qaeda in the United States." The connections between Al Qaeda and the ICT include Wael Hamza Jalaidan, a former ICT president, believed to be an Al Qaeda founder, and Hani Hanjour, who attended the mosque while a student at the University of Arizona and who later flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon on 9/11. Wadih El-Hage, a personal assistant to terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden, was active with the ICT in the late 1980's where he is alleged to have established an Al Qaeda support network, according to the FBI. In 2001, El Hage was convicted by a federal judge in New York of planning the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania."This is part of the Qur'anic struggle to turn Dar al-harb (the world of war, including Europe and America) into Dar al-Islam (the world of Islam). If we allow American Muslims to prey on our tradition of religious tolerance and to make disbelievers feel guilty about not accepting their Medieval cult, then they will be in a stronger position to make demands on our legal system which favor Islam. It is important that US Airways treats this suit very seriously and does not just settle with CAIR in order to minimize their costs. This is a matter of serious principle. Failure to understand that this is a battle in our war on Islamic Jihad would be very costly to America in the future. These are not just childish religious zealots that we can dismiss. This is war.Write US Airways and urge them to stand their ground and do not settle. Below is a letter you can send them. Please fax it or email it to: Liz LandauCorporate Communications | US Airways email: elizabeth.landau@usairways.comFax for their Executive Offices in Phoenix480-693-2300
