It's easy to sit back and let others do the work, but if you want to make the world a better place, you have to educate yourself, network, and participate in the political process.
Enclosed are links to websites that can help you do those things in 2007.
Take a minute to learn about Oxfam's micro-loans to mothers, or UNICEF's fight against AIDS, about how to prevent further genocide in Darfur, or how to reduce your contribution to global warming, and so on.
Good luck and Goddess Bless.

Ever need a really good laugh?!
Here's a list of activities, films, and songs that you might find usefull in finding that storm cloud's silver lining (or perhaps, in discovering that cosmic screw up that makes all your everyday worries seem trivial).

1. Eddie Izzard's Transvestite/Political comedy special, "Dressed to Kill"
2. Song: "I Spent My Last $10.00 (On Birth Control And Beer) " by Two Nice Girls.
3. Scanning CNN for "Bushisms," (political bloopers)
4. Baking cookies with friends, while topless.
5. Watch Monty Python's "Meaning of Life" and memorize "The Penis Song."
6. Convincing a male friend to try a bellydance workout video with you.
7. Writing a haiku about your most embarrassing moment.
8. Inviting an older member of your family to watch Margaret Cho's comedy with you.
9. Playing thematic Scrabble (like...only words that can be applied to Republicans)
10. Allowing a child to give you a make-over and tell you about your best physical assets.

The power to end poverty, lays in our hands. But not within our life time. If we build a trust fund. That will grow as the years pass. We will move closer and closer to an end of poverty. Just we were to save $1 per week. say 10,000,000 people were in...
