In accordance with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations for Notification and Public Outreach, Bayer Corporation provides herein information relating to environmental investigative and remedial activities being conducted at the  Former Mobay Chemical Site, in Bayonne, NJ.

Former operations conducted at the Site include the manufacturing of dyestuffs and pharmaceuticals. Contamination at the property was identified in 1982 and has impacted soil and ground water, resulting in compounds present above current applicable NJDEP remediation standards. Chemical constituents include, but are not limited to, certain chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), fuel oil, and heavy metals. Lead is the most prevalent heavy metal detected in soils. Chlorobenzene is present in ground water above the NJDEP standard. Since 1982, the contamination in the soil and ground water has migrated from the Site.

Benjamin Alter of GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is conducting investigative and remedial activities in accordance with the requirements of the NJDEP to address the chemical constituents detected. In addition, an evaluation of receptors in the area is being conducted [or has been completed] in order to ensure that the remedial approach is appropriate for the Site.

Honor your light. Have the courage to live your light. The more light you bring the faster it will spread. Do all that you can do. And remember who you are. Thought comes first. Experience is always secondary. Stop living in the past or future and always live in your now. Do not be afraid of what you create. Eliminate should and trying out of your vocabulary. How you want to be is how you shall be. Be aware. Live 100% of your time. Begin to believe you are always at the right place at the right time. Emotion is the key. Emotion generates feeling. Know your feeling. Trust your feelings no matter what they are. Learn to love your emotions. Feeling connects you to your humanity. Feeling is what connects you to your emotions.

Love is the essence of all. Open your mind to all the possibilities. Follow to where your heart leads. Anything at all is possible, and all things are possible. You can only be to someone what they see you as. If you are clear, step into the knowing, not thinking, but the knowing beyond all shadow of a doubt that you will be here in joy, in harmony, in happiness, in creativity, and in greater rejoicing of building the world, the civilization that you all desire, then so shall you be. Put your energy, your thoughts, your heart, into what it is that is most important. Go inside and trust the feelings. Trust yourself. Open your hearts. Open your eyes. Do not be afraid. Love does what the essence of a thing does to be itself. And know that you are surrounded by Love.

Along with the letter I had received from one.org yesterday, in surprise, I had also received this in my inbox, just in today!  I tell you this:  We are all in One Voice, that echoes in a distance, and makes a difference. ~ ram

Dear Robin,

You did it.

Yesterday afternoon, the Senate restored full funding to the International Affairs budget, returning the over $4 billion that the Budget Committees had stripped from President Obama’s request.

This is a testament to your collective power. On Tuesday, when we wrote to tell you about the proposed budget cut, this money was in serious peril.  But you responded.

In 36 hours, you sent over 7,000 letters to your Senators demanding they reinstate President Obama’s budget request for international affairs. When a Senate office gets flooded with that amount of mail, they take note. And take note they did.

In the end, the outcry was so great that not one Senator objected to restoring the funding—including the Budget Committee members who had stripped the international affairs money in the first place.

This is a historic victory. This funding will bulk up our diplomatic corps with hundreds of new Foreign Service officers. It will support UN peacekeepers stabilizing societies ravaged by war in places like Lebanon and Liberia. It will provide live-saving treatment to those living with HIV/AIDS.

Thanks again for your involvement and support. The next step will be the all-important appropriations process.

Best regards,

The Better World Campaign team

There is a time when we wake up. When within everything that happens all around us, through all our fears we hold accountable to ourselves, we stop and somewhere from within, knows we've had enough. Enough fighting and crying, wondering how to keep going day after day. When all that experience mainly is and has been there, for a 'reason'. As if to say, it 'just happened'. Though there are no coincidences. We begin to look at our lives, our world through new eyes.

This is our awakening. And such an awakening it is!

Realizing that it's time to keep our hopes and have patience for change. Change is life. Life is change.

To accept people as they are. To overlook their shortcomings and human 'mistakes'. Open up to new worlds and different points of view. And begin reassessing and redefining who we really are. It is truly in giving that we receive, and in creating and contributing is of our own in 'beingness'.

We learn about love, and understand what could become unconditional. A love without condition. How to love, how much to give in love, when to remember, and when to stay. To realize that not only people, but all living beings deserve to be treated of the same with love, kindness, sensitivity, and respect.

Life is eternal, and there is only One of Us.

Anything worth achieving is worth working for, and wishing for something to happen is different from working toward making it happen. We cannot always go it alone and it's ok to ask for help when in 'need'. Someone will always be there.

Negative feelings such as anger, envy, jealousy and resentment are not 'good'. We continue to be positive. For positive will only bring more positive.

We create our own reality.

Be thankful and grateful for everything and anything we know and own. Bless it, and be blessed. For the secret of life is to not to have everything you want, but to want everything you have.

Keep smiling, keep trusting, keep caring, keep adoring, and keep loving everything that surrounds ourselves. To stay open to every wonderful possibility. ~

To keep on.. keeping on!

It's been a long time
but here is today
through a state of mind
warm hearted effects grow

Just a little more than before
for the words are all around us
the coming of a new day show
what matters in life

Reopening the blessings in disguise
the unstoppable force of goodwill
shows peaceful understanding
rewarded in contact with all efforts

The universe is far more tranquil
than what can be seen by the human eye
what holds truth pulls together
under the above in one hand no matter

The importance of promising tomorrows
its dreams are beyond greatness
the inspiration abound stays within
for being complex was sensible

Intrigue enters at will as promised
but becomes the backbone of tension
chaos rises the trusting tide
challenging the obstacles on its own path

To withhold the greater experience
keeping its distance from gaining balance
just one day to see truth of what is understood
still moving from yesterday's honesty

Precious mentality's key is guarded
of sweetness in heart's tomorrows
bringing yet another day about to be
pulled away from expired's past

peace of mind entering
virtue to patience silencing
love reaches out accepting
otherwise convincing
at flaws focusing
attention changing
emotions illuminating
affectionate touch initiating
with opened eyes searching
found for something more gratifying
found from changes releasing
one with each other sheltering
no longer surprising
together for longing
fearsome storm clearing
truth in reasoning
words of change embracing
eyes wide open living
confident in dreaming
guided by time granting
enters by listening
gratified by expressing
close to heart uplifting
happiness sharing
take pleasure recognizing
content of being
heart to heart loving

Times, tales, tunneling through
Perplexed, puzzling, promises new.
Thoughts, fantasies, desirable view
Deciding, acting, following through.

Moments like sand castles that wash away
Revealing minutes from seven days.
Asking, questioning, to get inside
Ultimately, impossible to see through time.

Stepping, stumbling each foot at a time
Recording, praying that memory will win light.
Enjoying, knowing its as long as it is
As you remember nothing, know this;

When we open our arms to these moments of truth
They glimmer and shine, to fast then we move.
And what remains is a feeling we have felt before
Exposed in daylight, open and raw.

Contemplating, dwelling, empty within
Acknowledging, accepting it’s the same again.
So wondering, pondering what becomes now
What happens next if next is allowed.
