  •  Heart disease and stroke - the principal components of cardiovascular disease - are the first and third leading causes of death for both men and women in the United States, accounting for nearly 40% of all deaths. Over 927,000 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each year, which amounts to 1 death every 34 seconds.
  • The UK has one of the highest rates of death from heart disease in the world - one British adult dies from the disease every three minutes - and stroke is the country's third biggest killer, claiming 70,000 lives each year.

Ref: BBC

  • Stroke deaths will double in the next 20 years, say researchers who estimate the disease will kill 286,000 Americans in 2023.

Ref: American Heart Association, Inc.

Some facts on the cost of the disease to healthcare systems around the world
  • The economic impact of cardiovascular disease on the U.S. healthcare system continues to grow as the population ages. In 2003, stroke cost the United States an estimated $51 billion in lost productivity and health care costs, including $12 billion in nursing home costs. As the U.S. population ages, the impact of stroke may increase.

Ref: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • The cost of heart disease and stroke in the United States was projected to be $394 billion in 2005, including health care expenditures and lost productivity from death and disability.

Ref: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • New research funded by the British Heart Foundation estimates the true cost of heart disease in Britain today to be over £7 billion.

Ref: British Heart Foundation

The above statistics bring into focus the tremendous strain that this disease puts on healthcare systems and also about the urgency for better preventive and treatment measures. Through this case study, we will first try to understand how modern science tries to approach this problem. This is in contrast to how the science of Spirituality deals with it.

What are the causes of heart diseases? 1. According to Modern Sciences
  • The most common cause of heart disease is narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart itself. This happens slowly over time.

  • Some heart diseases can be present at birth.

  • Hypertension.

  • Abnormal function of the heart valves.

  • Abnormal electrical rhythm of the heart.

  • Weakening of the heart's pumping function caused by infection or toxins.

Ref: MedlinePlus

 2. According to Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a time tested medical science described in the ancient holy Vedic scriptures of India. It addresses the physical illnesses at a deeper level, i.e. at the level of the five cosmic elements For example, in case of infection the modern medical science prescribes antibiotics to kill germs. This means that if the illness is at the level of the basic cosmic element, for example, the Absolute Earth element (pruthvi tattva), then the remedy is also at the same level. But the ancient science of Ayurveda goes a step further and takes steps to modify the illness at a deeper level that is at the level of the Absolute Water element in which the germs breed.

According to modern medical science the bodies of all human beings and animals are made up of biological or organic molecules of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and their constituents, i.e., amino acids, fatty acids, glycerin, sugars like glucose, fructose, galactose and vitamins, minerals and water.

Ayurveda has categorised these various biological molecules into three biological particles namely the three humours i.e. wind (vata), bile (pitta) and phlegm (kapha).

According to modern science the amino acids and proteins are made up of atoms of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. Carbohydrates and fats are made up of atoms of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.

Similarly the wind humour particles are made up of the Absolute Air and Ether elements. The bile humour particles are made up of Water and Fire elements. The phlegm particles are made up of Earth and Water elements.

Ref: Fundamental principles of Ayurveda by Dr. V.B. Athavale M.D., D.C.H., F.A.M.S. and Dr. Kamlesh Athavale.

2A. Heart diseases related to the wind humours (vata doshas) are known as vataja heart diseases

•  Causes: Fear, unhappiness, worry, anxiety, excessive work, fasting etc.

•  Symptoms: Bursting and pricking type (needle pricking) of unbearable pain.

•  Leads to: Vataja diseases cause contraction of the coronary arteries leading to angina (angina pectoris)

2B. Heart diseases related to the bile humours (pitta doshas) are known as pittaja heart diseases

•  Causes: Anger, worrying, working in the sun, exercise and adverse effects of smoking etc.

•  Symptoms: Burning sensation in the chest, feeling of chest being full of smoke

2C. Heart diseases related to the phlegm humours (kapha doshas) are known as kaphaj heart diseases

•  Causes: Laziness, less physical work, excessive diet and excessive consumption of oil and fats.

•  Symptoms: Heaviness in the chest.

•  Leads to: Kaphaj diseases lead to atherosclerosis and if there is formation of thrombus in coronary vessels it leads to a heart attack.

3. According to the science of Spirituality

3A. Result of past actions:

Since birth man keeps on performing good or bad actions. One such cause of getting heart diesease is due to result of past actions like always gossiping over shortcomings of others.

3B. Due to ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies etc.):

The following table describes the symptoms of heart disease that are caused by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies etc.) from the corresponding 7 levels of hell (paataal).

Symptoms of Heart disease and the chronological number of the paataal region of the ghost responsible for the symptom

1. Blood Pressure (numbness and coldness in extremities)

Patal No. 4

Special features  : Creation of meshwork of black fibres in coronary vessels by ghost, thus initiating the flow of black energy.

2. Heart ailment (tremulousness of the body)

Patal No. 5

Special features  : Creation of centre in heart (Anaahat) chakra and emission of black energy over heart musculature.

3. Breathlessness followed by vomiting

Patal No. 5

Special features  : Contraction and dilation of blood vessels due to Energy of Will of the ghost, thus causing irregularity in blood circulation.

4. Contraction of the body and stiffening of the muscles

Patal No. 6

Special features  : Creation of icons (yantra) by ghost by black magic and their confinement to the centres causing contractions of the corresponding vessels.

5. Sweating resulting in reduction in vital energy (praanshakti)

Patal No. 6

Special features  : Creation of illusory bushes in the blood vessels by ghost using its supernatural powers, which dilate the vessels.

6. Death

Patal No. 7

Special features  : Creation of a thin black layer over the heart and reducing the septum by black magic, thereby reducing its efficiency and stopping the movement of heart valves and muscles thus causing death.

How does one diagnose a spiritual cause of heart disease?

Diagnosis of the spiritual cause of heart disease is possible only by a spiritually evolved person who has attained the spiritual levelof at least 70%. A person with active sixth sense (subtle perception ability) can perceive the root cause, however before attaining spiritual level of 60% one has to verify the diagnosis with a spiritually evolved person. The average person in today's world is at a spiritual level of 20%.

How does one treat this spiritual cause of heart disease?

According to the science of Spirituality the spiritual root cause of any illness is twofold:

  1. One is because of increase in tama component with a concomitant decrease in the sattva
  2. The other is the attack by a specific ghost (demon, devil, negative energies etc.)

Hence the specific spiritual remedy is based on the alleviation of these two causative factors as per the case.

Abstract:

This is a case study of Anupama Rane who at the age of 20 years lost all her hair on her head suddenly and without any apparent reason. She tried various conventional treatments to no avail. Finally in a spiritual healing session conducted by His Holiness Dr. Athavale, her difficulty was overcome. In this interview she describes how all this came about.

Anupama

1. Introduction

A young teenage girl from Mumbai, India, Anupama experienced near total hair loss in a matter of days when she started asking for donations for the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) in her suburb. She used to ask for donations as her service to God which is a type of spiritual practice. In the months that followed, Anupama’s faith in God would be put to the test as her family told her to stop collection of donations. This case study is not only about how Anupama was healed through spiritual treatment alone, but how the faith of a seeker of God can be put to test. Faith is always best measured during a period of adversity.

 2. Anupama experiences hair loss

In April 2005, after her twelfth grade exams Anupama decided to devote her vacations to spreading the awareness of Spirituality in society. Along with this she helped out in collecting donations for SSRF. After about a week, Anupama noticed that her hair was beginning to fall from different parts of her scalp. This loss of hair began to intensify within the next two days and was very noticeable.

"I was not particularly worried. However my loss of hair affected my mother pretty badly. Actually she is also doing spiritual practice. But my hair loss staggered her. My mother was convinced that my hair loss was a result of my spiritual practice. It was obvious to her that there was a direct relationship between my hair loss and my going to collect donations. She would not allow me to go about my spiritual practice of collecting donations. Although I did not share her feeling, I did not know how to convince her otherwise."

Anjali, another seeker of SSRF somehow convinced Anupama’s mother to let her continue with her spiritual practice. Anupama’s mother reluctantly agreed. In the meantime, Anupama’s parents took her to different doctors as she kept losing tufts of hair with every passing day. In two weeks from the start of the loss of her hair, one could easily see her scalp. The only reminder of her curls was a few strands of hair on her forehead. In the weeks that followed, none of the prescribed medicines provided any relief. Anupama’s uncle sent traditional medicine from his village but even that did not help. The following picture clearly explains Anupama's state.

hairloss   3. Pressure from family and friends to stop spiritual practice

In a conservative Indian household, this was a devastating thing to happen to a young girl. Her parents were terribly worried about the situation.

"My parents could not sleep at night with worry. My father was close to tears and my mother could not concentrate on her routine work. They would constantly think about my problem.

My mother’s opposition to my spiritual practice became severe and she declared, “I am not going to do spiritual practice till you regain your lost hair! If you are serving God, then does He not understand that He should restore your hair?”

My father frantically searched for new medicines and alternative therapies.”

Along with pressures at home, Anupama had to face a barrage of questions from the people that she met in the course of collecting funds as her spiritual practice.

"All the donors I went to would ask me, “How can you step out of the house after losing all your hair? You first take care of yourself and then do whatever spiritual practice you want to do.” They would suggest to me names of doctors, medicines, therapies etc. but I had full faith in my Guru’s grace. In such testing situations, God would provide me with an appropriate answer to the innumerable questions asked by people I would meet."

Then came the relatives and neighbours to offer their take on the issue.

"My relatives and neighbours would instigate my parents to dissuade me from doing spiritual practice of service to God and make me rest at home. This in turn would increase my parent’s opposition to my going out to serve God. I would get mentally disturbed when I found it difficult to convince them. It was only through prayer that I would make them understand and resume doing my spiritual practice."

Throughout this social ordeal, Anupama remained unaffected and resolute in her faith in God and commitment to spiritual practice.

"I never had any expectation from God about curing my loss of hair. I would cry and apologise to God because I felt that He was being blamed by people due to me. I would ask Him to forgive my mother for her emotional outbursts. I would tell her that she should not lose faith and stop doing spiritual practice because of my problem.

I would constantly feel the Guru’s (The Teaching Principle of God)destiny that I have to endure. All these events did not affect my spiritual practice. It went on regularly due to God’s grace.” presence in my life. There was an innate understanding and acceptance that everything happens as He desires it to happen. I would tell my parents not to get overly attached to me and that my suffering could be due to my

Other seekers of God would enquire about her hair condition. They would give her credit for continuing the spiritual practice of going out to collect donations in spite of losing her hair. Anupama would give all the credit to the Guru as she felt that she could remain stable and unperturbed only due to His grace.

4. Diagnosis of Anupama's hair loss

When she lost all her hair, she met with Ravindra Salokhe a seeker with advanced sixth sense (ESP), from the subtle perception department of SSRF. He diagnosed that the root cause of the problem was due to a ghost (demon, devil, negative energy etc.). The ghost (demon, devil, negative energy etc.) was trying to discourage her from doing any spiritual practice.

"At the time I was regularly taking conventional medicines as prescribed by doctors. They were not helping in the least.

So after the spiritual diagnosis, I started doing spiritual healing remediessalt water remedy, chanting, prayer etc.). These remedies helped in reducing my mental disturbance from the constant berating from people around me. My father took me to the family priest at times. I did not believe in going to him but would go to please my father. Nevertheless, I strongly felt that the Guru would take care of everything.” (applying Holy ash and Holy water on scalp,

4.1 Mechanism of how the subtle sorcerer creates hair loss

The following is a picture of a how a normal scalp looks.

Hair Normal

This is how the scalp looks after the ghost has laid the subtle mechanism to instigate hair loss. This is a subtle picture of what was perceived by Mrs. Anjali Gadgil, a seeker with advanced sixth sense (ESP) when diagnosing Anupama’s case of hair loss.

Hair Loss

An explanation of the above picture and mechanism is as follows:

1. Black diagram (yantra): The subtle sorcerer generally starts with inserting a subtle black energy diagram. This diagram performs the function of imbibing and emanating black energy as desired by him.

2. Balloon of black gas: He then puts a balloon of black gas around the yantra. The balloon acts as a protection for the yantra. The yantrasthaan) of the subtle sorcerer. surrounded by the balloon of black gas constitutes a centre (

Movement of the yantra creates frequencies in the black gas surrounding it thereby facilitating their transmission across the scalp. They are of two types:

3 a. Effulgent black frequencies moving in upward direction: They cause uprooting of the hair.
3 b. Effulgent black frequencies moving in downward direction: They weaken the hair root.

4. Interconnecting black flow: This interconnected mesh of black energy flow hastens the uprooting process. As the yantras are interconnected the subtle sorcerer (maantrik) has to use minimal energy, as he has to set just one yantra into motion to get them all moving. The time taken for complete hair loss depends on the momentum of the diagrams. If the momentum of the diagrams is

  • High - total hair loss within 1 week

  • Medium - it takes 3 weeks and

  • Low - total hair loss happens in 4-6 weeks.

5. Meshwork of black frequencies: The black frequencies form a meshwork above the entire scalp thus speeding the process of hair loss.

6. Black frequencies are also transmitted from the tip of hair.

5. The spiritual healing

After some time Anupama learnt that spiritual workshops for enhancement of seekership qualities were being conducted in SSRF’s Miraj hermitage (aashram) in India. Anupama had a strong desire to participate in these workshops. It so happened that one of the seekers scheduled to attend the workshop had to stay back due to urgent spiritual work and Anupama’s name was proposed instead. Anupama was overjoyed and mentally kept expressing her gratitude to the Guru.

The next hurdle was to get permission from her parents to go to the camp.

5.1 Anupama prepares to leave for SSRF's Miraj hermitage

"My parents refused to give me permission to go to the camp. I started crying. I prayed to His Holiness Dr. Athavale. Then I heard His voice say gently to me, “Why are you crying? Pray that the black covering around their (parents) minds and intellect be destroyed!”  I prayed fervently and soon after my parents reluctantly agreed to send me for the workshop on the condition that I procure and take the full course of medicines with me."

The next hurdle was to procure the full course of medicines for the 15 days that Anupama would be away. The chemist did not have the medicines that she needed in stock. Given that the next day was a sunday, all the shops were closed. The chances of Anupama getting the medicines before leaving for the camp were slim. The chemist however miraculously agreed to get her medicines the next morning and even though it was a Sunday, he kept his shop open just for her. Finally having got the medicines in hand, her father agreed to let Anupama go to Miraj for the spiritual workshop and the seekership camp.

 5.2 Seekership workshop at Miraj

"For two months before this workshop, I had just a few strands of hair. All medicines and therapies had failed to provide respite. However, within 2-3 days after being at the workshop I experienced a dramatic change. My balding scalp for the first time in two months showed numerous tiny hair follicles. I expressed gratitude unto the Guru’s holy feet. Seekers at the workshop would remind me to take medicines and also apply holy water on my scalp whenever I would forget.”

On the final day at the camp, His Holiness Dr Athavale started a healing session. Anupama was slightly nervous as the last time she attended one of the healing sessions conducted by His Holiness Dr Athavale in 2003, a ghost within her manifested. The ghost had manifested as soon as Anupama looked into His Holiness Dr Athavale’s eyes and she felt a lot of discomfort.

This is because the possessing ghost is tama predominant and cannot tolerate the high sattvik environment of the premises. This is similar to ice melting in presence of fire. We have explained this in more detail in our section on ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies etc.). Refer to an explanation behind manifestation of possession.

On 29 May 2005 at 6 pm, His Holiness Dr Athavale commenced the healing session. This time around Anupama did not feel any distress while looking into His Holiness Dr Athavale’s eyes. The sequence of events that unfolded are described by Anupama.

Spiritual treatment

"I concentrated on His Holy Feet and repeated the Lord’s Name in my mind. It was then that I experienced heaviness in my head and my eyes started watering. I was experiencing distress looking at the big toe* of His Holy Feet. After some time, the heaviness became most severe and I felt my head being pulled apart from my body, like how one feels when hair is pulled out of its root.

Soon I saw the strands of hair above my forehead falling on the floor. I felt somebody was shaking me. His Holiness Dr. Athavale had started the remedial session at 6 pm and we were to leave the hermitage (aashram) at 8 pm to catch a bus home. At 7.45 pm, a co-seeker was shaking me trying to bring me back to a conscious state. The ghost possessing me had manifested for over an hour.

I was finding it difficult to come back to normal from the manifest state. When it was time for me to leave, half the session was still to go. I expressed gratitude unto His Holiness Dr. Athavale’s Holy Feet and arose. When I was coming back to my normal state after the manifestation, my vision was blurred for three minutes. I could see everything clearly only after a while. As I was leaving, a co-seeker said to me, “Anupama, do not be scared. The Guru is with you. Pray that you continue to get benefit from the Guru’s healing session which is still on.”

* The flow of divine consciousness emanating from a Saint’s body is highest from the big toes of feet. Anupama-healing session

5.3 Spiritual healing for hair loss continues on the journey home
"Later in the journey I again started experiencing heaviness in my head. My head was splitting with pain and hot vapours were coming out of it. While travelling to Mumbai, India, in the bus my right hand would get twisted off and on and I could feel The Guru healing me subtly. I started to feel a little better after 11 pm.”

The sensation of a splitting headache, hot vapours coming out of her head and twisting of her right hand were all signs that she was indeed benefiting from the spiritual healing session of His Holiness Dr. Athavale. This was even though she had to abandon the session halfway to catch the bus home. The distress was actually felt by the ghost within Anupama.

When her parents saw Anupama and the new hair growth they were overjoyed. Anupama’s head continued to throb for two days after reaching Mumbai. She continued her spiritual practice of conducting spiritual workshops and collection of donations.

"Within two weeks, I had a new growth of healthy hair on my head and my parents started telling everybody that their daughter regained her hair due to God’s grace."

5.4 How did the spiritual remedy by His Holiness Dr. Athavale work?

Frequencies of manifest and unmanifest divine consciousness were emanating from the feet of His Holiness Dr. Athavale, as He is a Saint of the highest order. Due to these frequencies the diagrams and the balloons of black gas around the root of the hair follicle got disintegrated. Hence the black mesh created by the black frequencies emanating from them was destroyed. Then there was a supply of divine consciousness to the roots. This rejuvenated them. Consequently an environment that is conducive and complementary to hair growth was generated. Their growth was stimulated and Anupama’s hair grew in a short time.

 6. Going from strength to strength

Life is now back to normal for Anupama. In July 2005, she enrolled for a graduate course in hotel management. She continues with her spiritual practice on a regular basis. Her hair has grown back. The picture at the beginning of this article is the one taken after her above spiritual healing treatment and regrowth of hair. She is grateful for the experience as it has increased her faith in God.

In our spiritual journey, we all come across obstacles which test our faith. Anupama’s case is an example of how a seeker can be resolute in his faith in very trying times.

Abstract:

This article provides a spiritual perspective on the life of the famous seer Nostradamus. The spiritual purpose of his life was to overcome his attachment for supernatural powers that he had gained through many lifetimes of spiritual practice. Due to a desire for fame and an intense fascination for his supernatural powers he lost track of the spiritual purpose of his life on Earth. His life serves as a cautionary tale for those of us who have been gifted with some supernatural power or sixth sense.

The spiritual research was done through the activated and highly advanced sixth sense of Anjali Gadgil, a seeker of the SSRF. Her spiritual analysis was checked and reconfirmed by His Holiness Dr. Athavale.

1. Introduction Nostradamus

Michel de Nostredame (1503 – 66), popularly known as Nostradamus, was one of the world's most famous seers. His prophecies, 500 years into his future and into our current times have captivated the whole world. The Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) recently conducted spiritual research on the spiritual life of Nostradamus that contributed to his extraordinary gift. The contents of this article have been obtained through the medium of an advanced sixth sense (ESP).

In all cases where a person has psychic abilities or is able to look into the future, it is generally a gift due to past-birth spiritual practice. How we use this gift can impact our spiritual journey and the region we go to after death.

2. Spiritual research on the reasons for Nostradamus’ gift

Before his life on Earth, he had done spiritual practice in the subtle region of Heaven (Swargaloka). As a result of this spiritual practice, Nostradamus obtained two types of supernatural powers:

  1. Supernatural power of vision i.e. he could see visions of what was to happen in the future.

  2. Supernatural power of speech i.e. he could verbalise what he would see or what he heard being told to him through the subtle and it would come true.
3. Spiritual research on the reason for Nostradamus’ birth

People who have supernatural powers generally tend to use them for worldly reasons either for self or for society. According to Spiritual sciences, use of supernatural powers to orchestrate any fulfilment of worldly desires for people or to gain popularity can have negative effects on the person’s spiritual growth. It is for this reason that people who have supernatural powers are advised to use their powers for their further spiritual practice and as their spiritual practice towards God-realisation and only under the guidance of a spiritually evolved guide (Guru). A Guru directs the student to utilise his spiritual powers towards realising God.

Nostradamus had to be born on Earth to rid himself of the sway/hold that his supernatural powers had over him. His spiritual goal was to obtain guidance about practicing Spirituality so as to continue his onward spiritual journey into the further positive regions.

4. Spiritual research on the life of Nostradamus from a spiritual perspective

Through the medium of his supernatural powers Nostradamus made many accurate predictions. Many times he would clearly hear or see the future through the medium of sound or visions. In the beginning of his career, three divine beings from the higher subtle regions would guide him. They did this through the medium of Nostradamus’ supernatural power of vision.

Over the years, Nostradamus became over ambitious and invested a lot of time in his gift of seeing the future. He would receive prior intimation of many events through his divine supernatural powers. As he would disclose what he saw, people would come to know of future perils and take measures to protect themselves against them. This infuriated the ghosts as their plans to create problems for people would be foiled. Consequently subtle sorcerers from the fourth region of Hell started attacking his brain through the medium of black energy threads. These sorcerers had the capacity of creating illusory visions.

Due to the attacks by ghosts, his brain was affected and obstacles were created in the stimuli reaching his brain. Consequently his behaviour started becoming strange and eccentric.

As a result, in his later years, he suffered from bouts of depression. He also did not have access to a Guru which meant he had no one to turn to at a spiritual level. He therefore also did not have the spiritual strength of a Guru to protect him or His personal spiritual guidance. Spiritual research indicates that his personal life was steeped in internal sorrow which the people around him may not have been aware of.

In the beginning, by virtue of his supernatural power of vision, Nostradamus would receive knowledge through visions/scenes. Over time he got carried away with his fame and the accolades of people.
This defect in his personality weakened him spiritually. The subtle sorcerers took advantage of this spiritual weakness. Illusion creating sorcerers started intercepting some of his visions with their own illusory visions. They attacked Nostradamus with black energy interspersed in the illusory visions that they provided him with. This is a common method that ghosts use to attack clairvoyants. As a result of this, his eyes started appearing sharp and aggressive and the influence of the black energy of sorcerers started becoming apparent.

Due to this subtle influence of ghosts and his own desire for fame, the subtle atmosphere around him had a subtle foul smell. Instead of feeling positive in his company, people began to feel distressed. Many of the sattvik people, that were his friends and colleagues, started distancing themselves from him. This was exactly what the sorcerers wanted to happen.

Nostradamus used his wilful action (free will) to get further entrenched in his fascination for supernatural powers and his fame. As a result, he deprived himself of further spiritual practice on Earth. The effect of ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) only made matters worse. Slowly the stores of his spiritual practice from his previous lifetimes were depleted. Hence at the time of his death, Nostradamus’ subtle body got trapped by the very same sorcerers and had to dwell in the Nether region. In short, instead of using his time on Earth to do spiritual practice and attain a higher positive region, he regressed from the subtle region of Heaven to the subtle region of the Nether world after his life on Earth.

5. Precautions to be taken by those with supernatural powers

Our spiritual journey can be a slippery slope fraught with perils of our own personality defects. Though Nostradamus was graced with supernatural powers, he did not use them to augment his spiritual growth. Just predicting the future by itself does not constitute spiritual practice. If his primary focus were to be his spiritual practice, then his future would definitely have been different.

Having supernatural powers is not enough, one has to persevere with spiritual practice and reduce one’s ego and dissolve one’s mind and intellect. By dissolving one’s mind and intellect, we mean going beyond our superficial worldly feelings and thoughts, thereby gaining access to the higher divine Universal Mind and Intellect. Our mind and intellect is relative to our experiences and conditioning and it cannot see beyond the barrier of time into either the past or future. The Universal Mind and Intellect being divine, functions through the absolute knowledge of the entire past and future and is not limited by conditioning of individual experience. It frees us from the clutches of individual will and enables us to understand God's will. As a result one is able to tap into the Soul (the God within each one of us) and experience the ultimate in Spirituality which is merging into God.

Refer to the article on spiritual level that shows the mind and intellect dissolves as our spiritual level evolves.

For example, some of the seekers from SSRF who have an advanced sixth sense of vision use it to draw subtle picturesto educate society about the spiritual realm. They do this as part of their spiritual practice under the guidance of His Holiness Dr. Athavale.Under no circumstances do they use their gift for profit and fame. They are constantly vigilant about becoming proud of their gift and a resultant rise in their ego.

History is replete with examples of how spiritually evolved people have regressed spiritually by getting caught up in demonstrating their supernatural powers. They become ideal targets for subtle sorcerers who lure them into getting trapped in this mode for many lifetimes. Nostradamus is an example of one such spiritually evolved person who regressed spiritually as a result of getting caught up in demonstrating his supernatural powers.

1. What is salt water remedy?

Ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) affect people and cause distress to them through their black energy. Black energy can create a variety of problems such as depression, unclear thinking and malfunction of an organ which leads to even further difficulties such as addiction, financial problems, chest pain, etc.

Ghosts transmit their black energy on to the affected persons and create large stores in their bodies. It is difficult to get rid of this black energy except through a generalised spiritual remedy such as spiritual practice or a more specific one like the salt water remedy.

The salt water remedy is a simple but powerful means to counteract the harmful unseen black energy and drain it out of our system. By doing so, we do not waste our spiritual practice in counteracting black energy. Instead it can be used to bring about our spiritual growth.

2. When should we use the salt water remedy?

Each one of us is affected by ghosts to varying degrees. As a result, we all have some degree of their black energy in our body. Performing the salt water treatment on a daily basis helps to remove this black energy from our body.

Salt water treatment should especially be done when one experiences symptoms such as:

  • Lethargy
  • Reduction in promptness
  • Inability to think
  • Excessive thoughts especially when they are negative in nature
  • Anger or any other extreme emotion
  • Stress
  • Any form of physical illness

When we are experiencing any one of the above symptoms, we are in a weakened state physically, emotionally or spiritually. The ghosts attack us in this weakened state and infuse more black energy and play up the symptoms to an even greater extent.

The picture below is a subtle picture of a ghost causing depression in a person.

Note: Every time we are in a weakened state, we leave ourselves open to attack, as in this state ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) require the least amount of energy to affect us.

In cases of severe distress, the salt water remedy can be repeated 2-3 times in a day at 2-3 hourly intervals for better results.

3. What is required for the salt water remedy?
  • A large size bucket
  • Water filled in the bucket (upto 50%) to cover the ankles when feet are immersed in the bucket
  • Rock salt (sea salt crystals)
  • A towel
  • A foot mat

4. How is the salt water remedy performed? 4.1 Step by step instructions

Preparation:

  • Fill a bucket (upto 50%) with water to cover the ankles. Add 2 tea spoons of rock or sea salt.

  • Pray to God sincerely and with faith to remove the black energy in you. Also pray specifically for destroying the black energy of the ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) affecting you. Prayer is an important ingredient which enhances the effectiveness of this remedy.

The remedy:

  • Sit upright with your feet immersed in the salt water. Touch the heels (back portion) and keep a distance of 2-3 cm between the soles (near the toes). This results in maximum discharge of black energy. If the soles near the toes are touching, then there is obstacle to the discharge of black energy through the feet.

  • Keep the feet in salt water for 10 – 15 minutes.

  • While the feet are immersed, chant the Name of God according to your religion.

On completion:

  • After the completion of the remedy pray to God to create a protective sheath around you.

  • Then throw the salt water in the toilet and rinse the bucket.

  • Chant the Name of God according to your religion for 2-3 minutes.

5. What is the mechanism of action?
  1. The chanting and prayer cause dislodgement and disintegration of the black energy particles generated in various parts of our being by the ghost.

  2. The salt water has the property of being able to suck out the black energy.

  3. As the black energy is going out, it may be accompanied by symptoms like yawning, burping, numbness of legs, warmth in ears and eyes etc. Sometimes there is a feeling of sliminess on the immersed skin of the feet. This is a sign of black energy coming out. It has also been observed that sometimes after the salt water remedy, the water becomes blackish in colour or it acquires a foul smell or sometimes the water becomes warm. This is due to contact with the black frequencies escaping from the body.

6. Examples of the benefit of the treatment

6.1 What actually happens in the subtle dimension during the salt water remedy?

Album: GHOSTS - Spiritually explored !!
Ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) though neither visible to the gross eye, nor perceived by the other sense organs, mind and intellect are factors that affect all of mankind. The manifestations of distress due to ghosts or negative energies are varied, and can be from a person displaying uncharacteristic behaviour to erratic violent behaviour, addictions, various physical and psychological illnesses, family problems, business problems etc. The Spiritual Science Research Foundation has done extensive research in this field and has over 1000 hours of video footage capturing this phenomenon. We present in a scientific manner so as to demystify this phenomenon. This will help our readers in recognising and treating the adverse effects caused by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) through proven methodology according to the Spiritual science.
